Timeform View

DREAM ILLUSION arrives in good heart and can notch a fourth win of the campaign for the in-form Michael Herrington yard. Fantasy Obsessor is also respected going back up in trip, with Allegrino completing the shortlist.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Dream Illusion traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on 3 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Dream Illusion
Gained third win of a productive 2026 on the tapeta at Southwell in March and proved at least as good as ever when runner-up at Wetherby (7f, firm) last month. Yard remain in good form and she merits plenty of respect.
Ironist (IRE)
Opened her account in 6f handicap in soft ground here in September and wasn't disgraced there on next 3 outings. Ran below form at Lingfield at the start of June though, and was beaten favourite when eighth of 12 at Kempton (7f) 9 days ago.
Izzy Fast
Lightly-raced filly who was a surprise winner of a 7f maiden here in April. Down the field in 2 handicaps since and she's probably opposable again despite mark having eased another 2 lb.
Fantasy Obsessor
Runner-up twice on the all-weather in May and was quickly back on track when second of 5 in handicap at this course (6f, good to firm, 10/1) 12 days ago, just having her work cut out with the winner after a slow break. Has form at 7f and she's a player.
Lovers Leap (IRE)
Landed odds of 2/13 when winning 5-runner maiden at Beverley in May. Ran at least as well from a stiff-looking opening mark when sixth of 14 in handicap at Salisbury (7f, good to soft) later that month, paying the price late for setting a strong pace. Still unexposed with Loughnane now booked.
Angels' Share
Won a maiden and nursery over 7f on the all-weather at Lingfield last year. However, she's run poorly in 3 turf handicaps so far this season.
Allegrino (IRE)
Found improvement when winning 9-runner novice at Lingfield (7f, all-weather) in January before running well to finish second in a 5-runner event on handicap debut at Southwell 2 weeks later. Took a step forward after a 4-month break when third of 5 at Salisbury (7f, good) on her recent turf bow.
Galileo Charm
Gained first win at Wolverhampton in March and has proven consistent in defeat across 3 starts since, again performing respectably when seventh of 12 in handicap at Nottingham (8.3f, good to soft) 50 days ago. Perhaps vulnerable for win purposes again, though.
