This could be a warm 3-y-o maiden given the field size, with KOKBASTAU taken to build on the promise of his debut during the autumn as he's sure to be well prepared for this reappearance. Waterford Castle has had a few chances but he sets a fairly high standard, while Hollywell Stream is the type to go on progressing.

Timeform Comments

Ancestor
200,000 gns yearling. Sea The Stars gelding. Third foal from an unraced dam who is a half-sister to smart 2-y-o 7f winner Reach For The Moon. Clear promise amidst greenness when fourth of 6 starting out at Salisbury in May (1¼m). More to come.
Kokbastau
Foaled March 8. 300,000 gns foal, Wootton Bassett colt. Dam unraced half-sister to smart 2-y-o 5f/6f winner Ivawood, and granddaughter of Prix de l'Opera winner Kinnaird. Plenty to like about him physically and sure to build on opening run in warm conditions stakes at Newbury in September.
Traveling Man
360,000 gns purchase who knew a lot more than on debut when third of 6 in 1¼m novice at Redcar 19 days ago. Was well positioned on that occasion so isn't certain to make another leap forward.
Waterford Castle (IRE)
Still a maiden but has recorded 4 good runner-up efforts since joining George Boughey, including over 1¼m at Ascot in first-time cheekpieces in May. Fared about as well as could be expected tackling 1½m for the first time when seventh of 19 in handicap at Royal Ascot. Sets the standard.
Hollywell Stream (IRE)
Shaped very well when second to smart prospect Lilt on debut in October. Clearly amiss when tailed off at Wolverhampton on reappearance in May but put that behind her when second of 4 upped to this trip at Doncaster 18 days ago, running on. Open to further improvement.
Seacole (IRE)
400,000 gns yearling, Sea The Stars filly. Sister to useful 2-y-o 1m winner Seacruiser and half-sister to winner abroad by Le Havre. Dam maiden (stayed 1¼m). Hooded for debut and while she couldn't lay a glove on the short-price favourite, she displayed ability when second of 3 at Nottingham.
