Timeform View

This can go to ZENFORD, who did well to pick up the well-ridden Venetian Star having still been last of all turning in at Limerick last month. Patrick Foley's charge looks the one to give the selection most to do again, although Watch Tower can be expected to get much closer having shaped as if his reappearance was needed when fourth in that same contest.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Zenford traded at a high of 2.98 and Betfair SP of 2.12 when winning last time, a race in which it raced behind.

Timeform Comments

Invincible Will (IRE)
Resumed his progress with success in 13-runner event at the Curragh in May, just holding on having shown a good turn of foot. Struggled having been raised 5 lb next time, so others more appealing from the same mark.
Time Bender (IRE)
C&D winner on debut last summer but not up to listed company next time. Failed to find the improvement his opening mark required when sixth of 12 in nursery at this course (1m, good to soft) back in October and watching brief advised on return.
Zenford (IRE)
Going the right way and got away with conceding first run when winning 6-runner handicap at Limerick (7f, soft) just under 3 weeks ago, leading close home having been still been last of all turning in. Remains firmly of interest from 5 lb higher.
Dawn Romance (IRE)
Fairly useful 6f winner at 2yrs. Yet to fire this season though, eleventh of 14 on handicap debut at Naas (6f) a couple of months ago. Visor replaces cheekpieces here.
Mighty Danu (IRE)
Made a winning start in 15-runner maiden at Galway (7f, good to soft) last August. Not up to a listed race 6 weeks later and may have needed her Killarney (1m, good) reappearance. Makes handicap debut and this should reveal more.
Dark Leader (IRE)
Promising first effort when second of 10 in 7f Limerick maiden in April but has failed to kick on in both subsequent starts. May well prove a different proposition now handicapping so needs a close eye on in the betting.
Venetian Star (IRE)
Still a maiden but ran his best race when ½-length second of 6 to Zenford at Limerick (7f, soft) just under 3 weeks ago, collared late on having had the run of things. Fancied to be in the mix again nudged up 2 lb.
Caitouna (IRE)
Showed improved form to get off the mark with Colin Keane taking over for just her second handicap start in 18-runner event at Fairyhouse (7f, good) last week. 6 lb rise makes things tougher but she's heading in the right direction now.
Watch Tower (IRE)
Best form last year came at Dundalk and shaped as if better for the run after 6 months off when 4¾ lengths fourth of 6 to Zenford on handicap debut at Limerick (7f, soft) just under 3 weeks ago. Considered with Keane back in the plate.
Chapel Lane (IRE)
Not yet fully exposed and stepped up on reappearance run with a visor back on when seventh of 20 in handicap at the Curragh (1m, good to firm) just under a fortnight ago. The suspicion is he'll find a few too strong.
