Timeform View

This is likely to be tactical and last year's third CHANTEZ could be worth chancing in first-time blinkers. Duckadilly and Bella Isabella both have solid claims at the weights in a trappy renewal.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Nancy J traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Bella Isabella (IRE)
From a fine Moyglare family. Travelled fluently when doubling her tally in a C&D apprentice handicap (soft) last time. Big player if she can reproduce that under contrasting conditions (has won on good).
Chantez (IRE)
Landed double in C&D listed event as a juvenile. Sat close to pace when career-best third in this corresponding race 12 months ago. Back against her own sex following strong-travelling fifth on reappearance at Naas. Could be interesting if first-time blinkers have the desired effect.
Duckadilly (IRE)
Only fourth in bid to maintain unbeaten start in this race 12 months ago. Confirmed herself a better horse with success in strongly-run listed event at Navan (1m) last month. Not ideally placed in a sprint finish at the Curragh (1m) since and no guarantee she'll be seen to best effect here, either.
Fingerpaint
Backed up her Curragh debut success with a promising third in a Group 3 at Tipperary last summer. Cheekpieces go on first time following an underwhelming return, and she's presumably still held in some regard (entered in Group 1 Matron Stakes later in season).
Nancy J (IRE)
Hasn't added to her 7f debut success for Mrs J. Harrington. Ran creditably when fourth in Premier Handicap at Curragh on second start for current yard last month. No easy task at the weights stepping back into listed company.
Phenomenal Filly (IRE)
Expensive filly dictated to get off the mark second time up over C&D last summer. Off since encouraging fifth in Goffs Million at Curragh in September. Pitched into listed company on return, but there should be more to come given her connections/profile. Receives handy 3-y-o allowance, too.
