Timeform View

HOSEKI brings a really positive profile to the table and with this further step up in trip sure to suit, the hat-trick looks on the cards. Nochebuena is another 3-y-o filly on the up for her leading stable so she's the obvious threat, with Incensed also of interest down slightly in grade.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Hoseki traded at a high of 5.40 and Betfair SP of 3.75 when winning last time, a race in which it raced in mid-field.

Timeform Comments

Little Dorrit
Low-mileage 4-y-o whose best effort came when fourth in a well-contested handicap at Doncaster in September. Possibly found race coming too soon in a Group 3 later that month and pleasing return to action when 4 lengths fifth of 9 to Coedana in listed race at Pontefract (1½m) 19 days ago.
Brielle
Versatile sort who was well prepared to make a winning reappearance after 7 months off at Thirsk (1½m) in May. Found the going tougher in listed company 19 days ago and while handicaps more suitable, this mark does call for more.
Incensed
Three of her 4 wins have come on all-weather but May's third place in a 1½m Goodwood listed race was a career best. Fared about as well as could be expected in 1¾m handicap at the Royal meeting 3 weeks ago and this is easier.
Dojin
Progressive filly who won back-to-back Kempton handicaps since returning from over a year off, latterly going clear with another improving sort in fairly useful 1½m event. Shade keen but a sound effort on turf debut over 1¾m when second of 5 at Newmarket.
Lady Ridgewood
Made all in Chelmsford maiden on final start for Peter Chapple-Hyam last summer. Tailed off first 2 starts for this yard during the spring but much more like it when fourth at Chester 4 weeks ago.
Folk Pageant
Most progressive, making it 4 wins in last 5 starts when seeing off 8 rivals in 1¼m Epsom handicap (soft) on Derby day. Unable to continue the good work in a hot handicap at the Royal meeting 3 weeks ago but this is more her level.
Hoseki (IRE)
Benefited from step up to 1¼m when winning 6-runner maiden at Redcar on reappearance in May, form boosted since. Improved another chunk when following up on handicap debut at Chester 2 weeks ago, well on top finish. More to come as stamina drawn out and this well-bred filly is the one to beat.
Nochebuena
Study of Man filly who saw out this trip well when making third start a winning one at Doncaster 4 weeks ago, responding well. Makes handicap debut for leading yard and retains plenty of potential.
Sibling Rivelry
Resumed with a career-best victory in 11.5f handicap at Windsor in May. Up 5 lb and has looked in the grip of the assessor both starts since.
