Timeform View

ROSARIO isn't the easiest to win with but he's been given a chance by the handicapper and he caught the eye when finishing with running left when fifth at Windsor on his most recent outing 18 days ago. He could be worth chancing in a wide-open affair with the booking of William Buick catching the eye. Rhythm N Hooves and Rapper's Delight are others to consider, with last year's winner Emperor Spirit and Tatterstall others to factor in.

Timeform Comments

Tatterstall (IRE)
A dual 5f winner in 2024 who has stood little racing since but encouraging he matched the form of his Thirsk reappearance third when finding only one too good at Hamilton (5f) 2 weeks ago, headed close home. Raised 2 lb on the back of that but fancied to remain competitive.
Rosario (IRE)
Useful handicapper who is a while without a win but the handicapper has given him a chance and produced best effort of the season when fifth at Windsor (5f) 18 days ago, finishing with running left. Needs things to drop right but could be worth chancing with William Buick an eye-catching booking.
Twilight Calls
Won this in 2021 and was back to form with a bang in a first-time visor/down in grade when cosily landing 9-runner handicap at Sandown (5f) on penultimate start. Backed that up when second under a penalty at Yarmouth (5f) 3 weeks ago. This demands more having crept back up the weights, though.
Rapper's Delight
Low-mileage 4-y-o who showed the benefit of his reappearance run at Newcastle when posting a good second at Southwell (5f) on Sunday, closing all the way to the line. Just the sort his yard do well with and he's of interest turned out quickly.
Never Just A Dream (IRE)
Four-time all-weather winner for Ismail Mohammed. Disappointed on 2 of his 3 starts for Alice Haynes in 2025 but fared much better after 7 months off for new yard when fourth at Newbury (6f) 4 weeks ago. Now his task is to build on that dropped back to 5f.
Star Chorus (IRE)
Won twice at Southwell early this year (over 6f on latter start). Had excuses initially back on turf and he was much more like his true self eased in class when fifth at Windsor (6f) 2 weeks ago. Mark has eased a little more ahead of this.
Rocking Ends
Won 3 times in 2025, including over C&D. Below form in Bahrain over the winter and whilst below his best in 2 starts since returning to these shores, a switch back to this course could see him step forward. Booking of Oisin Murphy is eye-catching.
Our Cody (IRE)
Windsor maiden winner who was also placed at listed level as a 2-y-o. Enhanced her form again in 2 starts this season, producing her best effort yet when fourth in listed Scurry Stakes at Sandown (5f) 4 weeks ago. Respected back in a handicap with Ryan Moore aboard.
Emperor Spirit (IRE)
8-y-o who landed this race from 2 lb higher 12 months ago and enhanced good record fresh when second at Ascot (5f) in May. Excuses in Epsom Dash next time and quickly back to form when second at Beverley (5f) last week. Considered with blinkers back on (in place of cheekpieces).
Underwriter (FR)
Won maiden/novice events over 6f at Ayr (both good to firm) last summer. Gelded over the winter but not offered much either start upon returning in handicaps for Archie Watson this season. Changed hands for just 4,600 gns ahead of this and percentage call to look elsewhere.
Rhythm N Hooves
Losing run is beginning to mount up but largely consistent and he ran with plenty of credit from a career-low mark when finishing a close third at Windsor (5f) 18 days ago (Rosario placed fifth). Fancied to give another good account again partnered by Billy Loughnane.
U S S Charleston
All-weather winner over the winter who gained an easy breakthrough success on turf at Yarmouth (5f) in May. Ran creditably upped in class when fifth in 3-y-o "Dash" at Epsom since and his revised mark doesn't look beyond him on that evidence.
