Scintillante
Winner twice over 2m here last summer. Still below that form but ran much better than previous start when third in 2m course handicap (following breathing operation). Shapes as though this longer trip is needed nowadays, and he isn't totally discounted back down in grade.
Lacrima (FR)
Fairly useful chaser in France. Proved a different proposition to previously for current yard when dominant winner here (23f) last week. Escapes a penalty for that clear-cut success (due to go up 10 lb), and he can follow up under the same conditional jockey.
Faded Fantasy (IRE)
Landed first leg of a double in a 23f handicap here last summer. Looked rusty couple of starts this year and at least worth a market check now eased in grade.
Present Fair (IRE)
Forward-going sort who was twice a winner at Bangor last year. Ran poorly over longer trip here (23f) when last seen and has a bit to prove returning from 10 months off.
Bashful Boy (IRE)
Extended long losing run (across both codes) with creditable fourth on Flat at Bath in mid-April. Blinkers he wore that day retained and this is only his second start in Class 5 company over hurdles.
Boston Savr (IRE)
Hasn't achieved much in 5 starts to date. Drops back down in distance having failed to settle in first-time blinkers on return at Southwell (3m) latest.
County Champs (IRE)
Maiden who placed in 4 of 5 starts in Irish handicaps for Brian M. McMahon last year. Has gone well fresh and looks an interesting recruit for a capable yard.
Harry Gulliver
Opened his account at Huntingdon in October 2024. Absent since finishing down the field at Taunton the following month. Entitled to need this following 19 months off.
Could Be You (IRE)
Placed both starts in Irish points. Featured more prominently in the market but fared no better on handicap/stable debut at Ffos Las in late-April. Since undergone breathing operation and worth a second look in the betting given who trains him.
Illico De Montave (FR)
Well held in pair of 23f handicaps here last summer. Has undergone a breathing operation in the interim, but he's easily passed over on return.
