Timeform View

HONEY BUCK'S makes plenty of appeal on paper for a top yard and is selected to make a winning start. Vadique shaped with promise under a considerate ride despite making no impression on the wide-margin winner at Listowel and should improve for the experience. Bluebell Breeze is another who could build on her opening effort, while Western Roses and Not A Whisper are 2 other newcomers worth noting in the betting.

Timeform Comments

Ballyhahill (IRE)
Disappointed bearing in mind debut promise when seventh of 12 in maiden hurdle at Tramore (2m, good to soft) in April. Needs to get back on track now switching to a bumper.
Bluebell Breeze (IRE)
Well Chosen filly. Dam (h91), lightly raced over hurdles, half-sister to useful hurdler/chaser (stays 25f) Crebilly. Fared best of the trio of 4-y-os when fourth of 9 in 2m bumper at Tramore on debut in May. May build on that.
Born To Caledonie (FR)
Has achieved little in 3 runs to date.
Charlie Shiron (FR)
No Risk At All filly who shaped with a little encouragement when tenth of 14 in bumper at Kilbeggan (2m, good) on debut 25 days ago.
Girl From The West
Flag of Honour filly. Half-sister to fair 2½m hurdle winner Western Clouds. Dam, maiden pointer, half-sister to useful hurdler/smart chaser (stayed 4m) Vintage Clouds.
Highland Call (IRE)
Highland Reel filly. Sister to a winner on Flat and half-sister to 2 winners, including fair hurdler Curious Bride. Dam unraced.
Hilly Filly (IRE)
€16,000 3-y-o, Affinisea filly. Half-sister to useful hurdler/chaser Fascile Mode, stays 27f, and poor chaser C'est Rien. Dam modest 2½m hurdle winner.
Honey Buck's (IRE)
Nathaniel filly. Dam unraced half-sister to top-class staying hurdler Big Buck's and French hurdler (2¼m winner) Buck's Boum. Warrants obvious respect on debut for top stable.
I'm Gold (IRE)
Order of St George filly. Dam, runner-up sole start in points, half-sister to bumper winner/smart hurdler (2m-2½m winner) Black Tears out of useful 2¼m-2½m hurdle winner (stayed 3m) Our Girl Salley. Yard 0-7 in bumpers.
Indoor Sport (IRE)
Old Persian filly. Half-sister to 2 winners on Flat, including 7f-10.4f winner Slippin Jimmy. Dam 7f winner. Flat-bred newcomer wearing a hood.
Lavender Berry (IRE)
Has a good pedigree but offered little on her Listowel debut in May.
Not A Whisper (IRE)
Elusive Pimpernel filly. Half-sister to 4 winners, including fair hurdler/fairly useful chase winner Not Staying Long. Dam (h94), maiden hurdler (stayed 21f), half-sister to useful hurdler/chaser (stays 2½m) Aqua Dude and bumper winner/useful hurdler (stays 29f) Sempo. Makes some paper appeal.
The West A Yeats (IRE)
Yeats filly who was sent off at 100/1 but showed some ability when third of 17 in maiden hurdle at Clonmel (17f, good) on debut 35 days ago. Switches to a bumper.
Tiger In New York (IRE)
Capri filly. Dam unraced. Yard 0-5 in bumpers.
Vadique (IRE)
Vadamos filly. Half-sister to fair 19f hurdle winner Mr Finch. Dam unraced sister to fairly useful hurdler/fair chaser (2m winner) Stromstad. Showed ability behind a wide-margin winner on her Listowel debut (2m) in May and should improve.
Western Roses (IRE)
Westerner filly. Dam (h99), maiden hurdler (stayed 21f), closely related to fair hurdle winner (stayed 3m) Tenzing out of 21f hurdle winner Francesa. Yard has a commendable record in bumpers, so well worth a market check setting out in a hood.
