Timeform View

Preference is for LITTLEFOOT who has won 2 of his last 3 starts over fences, at this course on his latest outing, and has a 10 lb lower mark to work from back hurdling. Heading the list of dangers is Paul's Dream, who produced a career best when winning at Ballinrobe last time, with Gameball and Stede Bonnet also considered.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Nelson Muntz has traded at 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Thecompanysergeant
Has benefited from going back over hurdles last 2 starts, runner-up in minor event at Ballinrobe in May before making all in 4-runner contest at Clonmel (19f) 5 weeks ago. Blinkers applied for return to handicap company.
Gameball (IRE)
Bumper winner for A. Slattery last summer and followed up on Punchestown hurdle debut for this yard in October. Made the frame in the Royal Bond next time, before needng a stiffer test when third in a 2m Punchestown novice in April. Shortlisted up in trip for handicap bow.
Bottler'secret (IRE)
Useful hurdler at best for Gavin Cromwell. However, down the field in listed handicap at Fairyhouse on stable debut in November and hasn't taken to chasing in 2 starts since. Reverts to hurdling after 6 months off.
Kamikaz Du Plessis (FR)
Dual winner over hurdles early last season, but has looked a hard ride over fences and was still in rear when falling heavily 3 out in the Killarney National in May. Has since left Gordon Elliott for €2000 and now makes handicap hurdle debut with cheekpieces added.
Stede Bonnet (IRE)
Dual bumper winner who also won a maiden and novice over hurdles last season. Met trouble in running in the Martin Pipe at the Cheltenham Festival, but got back on the up when second in handicap at Roscommon last month. Remains unexposed at this trip.
Grann's Boy (IRE)
Successful twice in handicap hurdles in 2025 and also scored on the Flat in October. However, arrives on the back of a poor run at Ballinrobe (2¾m) in May. Cheekpieces wore the last twice now discarded.
Harry Des Ongrais (FR)
Very useful chaser shaped better than the result in Grade 3 handicap at Leopardstown in February, but then disappointed off lower mark back over hurdles 3 weeks later. Subsequently sold out of Henry de Bromhead's stable for 28,000 gns.
Ad Caelum (IRE)
Mainly campaigned over fences of late but has been back hurdling 2 of last 3 starts, proving as good as ever when winning 12-runner handicap at this course (3m) 25 days ago. Task is now to build on latest effort back up 6 lb under a different claimer.
Gin Tonic (FR)
Made a positive start under Rules, winning maiden hurdle at Wexford (2½m) in October before a good second in novice at Fairyhouse. However, pulled up both starts this year, the latest in 3m listed novice handicap at Fairyhouse in April. Back down in trip but has a bit to prove.
Lisnamult Lad (IRE)
Ended 2024/25 with a fine second in the Topham Chase at Aintree. Has lost his way since, though, running poorly back over hurdles the last twice including in handicap at Bellewstown 6 days ago.
Littlefoot (IRE)
Has shown improved from switched to chasing last 3 starts, winning twice including 14-runner handicap at this venue in May. Has a 10 lb lower mark back over hurdles, so he makes plenty of appeal in current mood.
Paul's Dream (IRE)
With reappearance run behind her, bounced back to winning ways with an 8-length success at Ballinrobe (2m) in May. That took her recent record to 3 wins and 2 seconds from her last 7 completed starts, so she commands respect back up in trip.
Nelson Muntz (IRE)
Fairly useful over hurdles, winning 2m maiden here in September. Rare poor effort in this sphere in handicap at Punchestown in May and was never a threat on chasing debut next time, but he fared better in blinkers when runner-up on the Flat at Tramore (2m) 3 days ago.
Faceman (IRE)
Won twice last summer, including maiden at this course. Fell on chasing debut in April, but reverted to hurdles he bounced back to win 8-runner handicap here (3m) the following month, showing a good attitude. More needed up 4 lb for last time.
Rexem (IRE)
Won claiming hurdle at Clonmel in October. After a couple of lesser efforts (including over fences) there were better signs in 3m handicap hurdle here last month, before faring best of those held up when third in handicap chase at Wexford (19f) 7 days ago. Has lower mark back hurdling.
Ryan's Son (IRE)
Built on promise he showed in a bumper when making a successful hurdling debut at Roscommon last summer. However, he's finished well held in only 2 starts since, in first-time hood sent handicapping at Punchestown in April.
Moon Mission
Opened account in novice at Cork (17f) in May, before running respectably when fifth of 7 minor event at Wexford 6 weeks ago. Has something to find back up in trip for return to handicap company. RESERVE.
Has Me Dreaming (IRE)
Much improved from hurdling debut effort when winning 14-runner maiden at this course (2m) back in September 2024, staying on to lead on the line. Longer trip is likely to suit as he goes handicapping, though has 22-month absence to overcome. RESERVE.
