Timeform View

SHIRAKAWA has the pedigree to keep improving and is taken to follow up her ready Bath success. Three Socks On should remain competitive, while Spirit of Athene is an unexposed handicap debutante from a good stable.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

This could develop into a sprint for home, and Spirit Of Athene could be well placed to capitalise.

Timeform Comments

Zipwire (IRE)
Won back-to-back handicaps at Wolverhampton in December/March. Good second at Chelmsford (1¼m) next time and not disgraced on most recent turf start, but remains vulnerable to less-exposed types.
Spirit Of Athene
Time Test filly who has improved with each run and got off the mark in good style in 8-runner all-weather novice at Lingfield (1m) in December. That form is nothing to write home about but she's in good hands and is open to more progress on turf/handicap debut up in trip.
Three Socks On
Dead-heated at Chelmsford in January and took another step forward when a convincing winner over 9.5f at Wolverhampton in April. Fell short in pursuit of hat-trick at Newbury (1¼m) but it was still a creditable effort on the figures and shaped as if still in good form in the mud at Goodwood since.
Evening Fades
Ulysses filly from a smart family who offered something to work on when fourth at Lingfield (1m) on debut in December. Hasn't reproduced that form in 2 runs since but was given an easy time of things once it was clear she wouldn't be involved in the finish and remains with potential.
Shirakawa
Showed improved form to get off the mark on her second handicap outing at Bath (1¼m, good to firm) 36 days ago, readily. Well-bred and likely to go on progressing for a while.
