Timeform View

There's little to separate last-time-out winners COME ON OVER and Ingleby Archie, with David O'Meara's 3-y-o just shading the vote. Ashen arrives in the form of his life and cannot be discounted.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

In a race that lacks confirmed pace-forcers, Ingleby Archie could get the run of things: Of the better-fancied horses, Ashen is most likely to be ridden furthest from the pace.

Timeform Comments

Ingleby Archie (IRE)
Dual winner last spring. Went close over C&D before opening his account for the year at Nottingham last time (always holding on). Expected to make a bold bid for the double off 2 lb higher.
Not Me
Capitalised on falling mark to get off the mark on stable debut at Chester (7.6f, soft). Worth a go sprinting given how he travelled last time, though he does face contrasting conditions on this occasion.
Eartha
Fairly useful juvenile winner in 2024. Something to prove returning 11 months on from an underwhelming 3-y-o season.
Ashen (IRE)
Better than ever since joining excellent yard, winning at Ayr (7f) before hitting the frame twice over the same C&D. Well worth another go over sprint trips in his current vein of form.
Iris Dancer
Notched an eleventh C&D success on penultimate start. Predictably not in same form at Musselburgh subsequently, but she ought to bounce back on return to her favoured track.
Come On Over (IRE)
Close second at Doncaster (fifth also won since) before showing a good attitude to go one better there (6f) last time. May win again off 4 lb higher now up and running.
