LUCKY CAMINO let odds-on backers down last time but the promise of his first 2 starts is still fresh in the memory and he can make a successful start in handicaps, perhaps at the main expense of recent Pontefract second Kaleido.

Timeform Comments

Kaleido
Won a 7f Yarmouth maiden for the Gosden stable last July and best effort for current yard when second of 7 in 1m Pontefract handicap (good to firm) 12 days ago. Of interest now he's found his form again.
Zowal (FR)
Got back on the up with his reappearance behind him when winning 9-runner handicap at Pontefract (1m, soft) in April. Only a respectable third back on quicker ground at Nottingham since, though.
Quiet Resolve (IRE)
Took advantage of reduced mark when making a winning return for new yard over C&D in May. Second over 9f back here 12 days later but subsequent Newcastle sixth below par.
Lucky Camino (IRE)
Promise when narrowly denied at Nottingham on first 2 starts. A bit disappointing when turned over at short odds at Leicester 28 days but still brings unexposed potential to this handicap debut.
Sanafi Zabeel (FR)
C&D winner on firm in May and perhaps unsuited by much softer ground when well held at Ayr since. Capable of bouncing back.
Showcasing Star (IRE)
Runner-up in all-weather maidens/novice on first 3 starts but has cut little ice switched to handicaps last twice.
