Hugo Palmer's MIA FANTASIA looked an exciting prospect when overcoming inexperience to score at Carlisle first time out and can edge out Andrew Balding's Rising Tiger who also looks to have much better days ahead of him judged on a promising Salisbury debut second (form working out really well). Newcomers National Pride and Call of The Sea also can't be discounted, especially if the market vibes are positive, in this intriguing novice.

Timeform Comments

Dr Rascal
Promising start with success in 9-runner maiden at Leicester (7f, good) four weeks ago. Well on top at the finish there so this Sottsass colt is not taken lightly under a 3 lb penalty.
Mia Fantasia (IRE)
Created an excellent impression when going in at the first time of asking in 11-runner maiden at Carlisle (7f, good to firm) 17 days ago, overcoming greenness to come from a long way back and lead close home. This son of Make Believe is open to a fair bit of progress. Big shout.
Another Encore (IRE)
25/1, tenth of 11 in novice at Salisbury (6f, good) on debut 27 days ago. This son of Acclamation needs to take a big step forward.
National Pride (IRE)
Foaled February 5. €24,000 foal, 72,000 gns 2-y-o, Naval Crown colt. Half-brother to 2-y-o 1m winner Sugar Goodson. Dam maiden (stayed 12.5f). Of obvious interest on debut for top stable.
Call Of The Sea (FR)
Foaled April 21. €52,000 foal, 48,000 gns yearling, Sea The Moon colt. Brother to 6f winner Patricia and 1m winner Stormrider and half-brother to 10.4f-1½m winner Panjaman, all in France. Noteworthy newcomer.
Mr Twig
Foaled April 3. 30,000 gns yearling, Oasis Dream colt. Brother to winner abroad and half-brother to 11.4f-2m winner Brave Knight and 1¾m winner Navid. The market can guide for this newcomer.
Rising Tiger (IRE)
Minzaal colt who shaped well when a debut second of 11 in novice at Salisbury (6f, good) 27 days ago. That race has already thrown up a trio of winners so he merits serious consideration.
Thanks Harry
25,000 guineas foal, 48,000 guineas yearling. Brother to 1¼m winner A Major Payne and half-brother to several winners, notably useful 6.5f-winning pair Morning Post and Spright. Dam maiden (raced only at 1m). This Harry Angel colt needs considering.
Guadalevin (IRE)
State Of Rest filly who has shaped on both her runs, still looking green when second of 9 in 7f novice at Kempton last month. Can improve further.
