SARGENT DENNIS brings a positive profile to the table now for this handicap debut and while stall 7 could have been better, it's by no means insurmountable. Kind Touch shaped well at York and he looks a big threat, along with Grasmere Boy.

Timeform Comments

Art Lover (IRE)
Continued theme of race-by-race progress when successful at Ffos Las in August. Not seen to best effect in 6f nurseries at Doncaster and Kempton during the autumn and gelded ahead of return from 9 months off, he's in expert hands.
Grasmere Boy
Harry Angel gelding who cemented a very positive start to his career when landing the odds in 5-runner maiden at Ripon on third start dropped back to 6f 3 weeks ago. Opening mark isn't a gift but he's unexposed and stall 1 is in his favour.
Inca Heights (IRE)
Debut 5f Newbury winner last April. Failed to kick on after, only thirteenth in listed Two-Year-Old Trophy at Redcar (6f) final 2025 run. Gelded ahead of reappearance and well held from a poor draw on handicap debut at Leicester in May.
Kind Touch (IRE)
Strong at the finish when making winning debut over 5f in August and matched that form when second in 6f Pontefract novice (soft) a month later. Returned with creditable third of 7 on Musselburgh reappearance and better than result when seventh in a stronger handicap than this at York 4 weeks ago.
Polka Blue (IRE)
Much improved when winning a pair of handicaps at up to 7f in May/June. Anchored by 4 lb higher mark and/or a better race at Newmarket 2 weeks ago but it was still another sound effort in third.
Cotai Lights (IRE)
All-weather novice winner last year. Produced his best effort this season in first-time cheekpieces when fourth of 11 in handicap at Newmarket (7f, good to firm) at the start of May but unable to land a blow both starts back sprinting since.
Kody B (IRE)
Ended his 2-y-o campaign with an easy win in a 6f Pontefract maiden (heavy) in October. Stepped up on reappearance when fourth of 14 at Hamilton in May but way he shaped that day suggests any further progress may come over 7f.
Sargent Dennis (IRE)
Chased home Marengo Storm (improver since) in a Kempton maiden in May and backed that up when making a successful turf debut at Windsor later that month. Opening mark looks perfectly fair with prospect of more to come.
