Timeform View

Several have something to prove, and it could be worth taking a chance on ROBOT ROCK. He hinted there could be better to come on penultimate start and looks interesting for a shrewd yard, especially if the market speaks in his favour. Arch Enemy could run a big race off a break, while The Gooseiscooked is back on a handy mark.

Timeform Comments

Rising Sky (IRE)
Close third in a better race than this at Naas on penultimate start. Underlined her inconsistency when finishing down the field at Bellewstown last week.
Arch Enemy (IRE)
Wasn't seen to best effect when sixth of 14 in handicap at the Curragh (1½m, heavy) in late-March. That form has some substance, and she looks interesting off a falling mark, especially given her creditable record fresh.
Deuteronomy (IRE)
Often a slow starter. Returned to form from out of the blue when winning Cork handicap in May. Back on track with latest fifth in strongly-run event at Leopardstown, though this may not pan out as favourably.
Jazz Forever (IRE)
Third behind subsequent winner at Navan (13f) last month. Wasn't in same form at Bellewstown latest. Claims if back on song in refitted cheekpieces.
Robot Rock (FR)
Runner-up in a claimer in France last summer. Some promise (not given hard time) when eighth in big-field Limerick handicap (1m) last month. No impact when keen over longer trip at Bellewstown (25/1) since, however, he's in shrewd hands and would be interesting if supported.
Autocrat (IRE)
Out of sorts both starts on turf since winning a Dundalk claimer in January. Returns from a break on a career-low mark.
Trishuli River (IRE)
In good form at Dundalk over the winter. Hasn't looked close to capitalising on lower turf mark (0-11 on this surface) in recent starts, though.
Cleopatra's Needle (IRE)
Isn't the easiest to win with in this sphere (sole success over C&D over 2 years ago). Arrives in good heart following successive seconds on the Flat at Leopardstown and Down Royal.
Thegooseiscooked (IRE)
Successful in this grade at Gowran last summer. Yet to fire this year but has now slipped below that winning mark. Could be interesting.
Retro Gal
Lightly-raced filly. Minor promise on handicap debut (1½m) at Limerick. Didn't build on that at Fairyhouse (8.5f) and first-time blinkers will need to spark improvement.
Copper Craft (IRE)
Went close in this grade on the all-weather at Dundalk in late-May. Yet to prove he can translate that form to turf, though.
One For Teigan (IRE)
Again showed nothing on handicap debut/return at Leopardstown (9f, soft) last month.
Haughty
Winner over 1m for Alan King in 2023. Yet to get anywhere near that level in Ireland, only beating one home first run since leaving Mrs Lorna Fowler at Sligo (1¾m) in early-May.
Gold Dublooms (IRE)
Low-mileage 4-y-o. Hasn't built on handicap debut third at Gowran last June. Down the field on first run for 5 months at Gowran (1m) latest. Worth another try over 1¼m given his style/pedigree.
