VALIANT FORCE is a potential class act back at a course where he has an excellent record. The selection's stablemate Ipanema Queen should find this easier than the Palace of Holyroodhouse at Royal Ascot, while Collective Power and The Highway Rat are multiple C&D winners

Timeform Comments

Valiant Force (USA)
Smart performer on all-weather, including 3 C&D wins. Has struggled on turf of late but much better can be expected back on polytrack.
The Highway Rat (IRE)
Four-time C&D winner. Creditable second of 7 in handicap at Navan (5f, good, 5/1) 35 days ago. Can give another good account.
Howd'yadoit (IRE)
Latest win in handicap at Navan in May. 6/1, fourth of 5 in conditions event at Naas (5f, good) 8 days ago. Stable having good spell.
Eclairage (IRE)
Four-time C&D winner. Fifteenth of 16 in handicap (28/1) at the Curragh (5f, good to firm) 14 days ago. Has first-time cheekpieces added to regular tongue-tie.
Kerdos (IRE)
Eighteen runs since last win in 2024. Eleventh of 16 in handicap at the Curragh (5f, good to firm, 12/1) 14 days ago. Needs first-time blinkers to have a positive effect.
Ipanema Queen (IRE)
Won 3 times for Adrian Murray in 2025, signing off with C&D listed win in October. Back on form when fourth of 12 in handicap at the Curragh (5f) last month. Respectable sixth in a big field at Royal Ascot since. Can make presence felt back in calmer waters.
Rosie Frith (IRE)
C&D winner. 13/2, career best when winning 5-runner handicap at Bellewstown (5f, good) 10 days ago, although very much had the run of race from the front.
Collective Power (IRE)
Six-time course winner. Another good C&D effort when second in May. Only fifth on turf since but respected back on all-weather.
Final Melody (IRE)
C&D nursery winner last November. Ended 2025 with a creditable second of 7 in conditions event over C&D in December. 4 lb out of handicap back from 7 months so it may pay to look elsewhere this time.
Fox In Flight
Off the mark over C&D in December and proved he's just as effective on turf when second at Cork last month. Well held at the Curragh since, though, and he's 4 lb out of handicap here.
