Timeform View

KARRYGRANT has had a few chances but his latest Curragh third represented a step forward so Johnny Murtagh's charge gets the nod with first-time cheekpieces applied for his all-weather debut. Having been placed on all 6 outings, Krasimir is sure to be popular, but he may have to settle for silver, while Outlaw Man and Rock of Claremont can do battle for minor honours.

Timeform Comments

Ask Me Again
Palace Pier colt who offered little when last of 18 in maiden at the Curragh (6.3f, good) on debut last month. Upped in trip and first-time cheekpieces go on.
Carry The Dream
40,000 gns yearling, Space Blues colt. Half-brother to 3 winners, including smart 6f-7f winner Breathtaking Look and 8.4f-10.4f winner Super Lover. Dam 1m-9.5f winner. Check betting.
Karrygrant (IRE)
Has made the frame in all 5 starts in maidens, producing best effort to date when third of 13 at the Curragh (1m, good to firm) just over a fortnight ago. First-time cheekpieces the headgear of choice here and worth chancing to open his account on all-weather debut.
King Of Eze
Bated Breath gelding who showed good speed when eleventh of 13 in maiden at the Curragh (1m, good to firm) on debut just over a fortnight ago, collared 2f out having raced clear. First-time hood applied but others preferred kept to this trip (looks worth a try sprinting).
Krasimir (IRE)
Placed on all 6 starts, typically giving his running when third of 15 in maiden at Naas (1m, good) 18 days ago. Makes all-weather debut and holds obvious claims again with his usual tongue tie reapplied.
Mr Mercury (IRE)
The Gurkha gelding. Half-brother to winner up to 1½m Space Kid. Dam unraced. Likely outsider on debut.
Outlaw Man (USA)
Built on debut promise when a clear second of 14 in maiden over C&D in January. Left poorly placed when mid-field back here the following month (hooded) and well worth another chance returning from a 4-month break. Headgear discarded.
Rock Of Claremont (IRE)
Profitable gelding who showed plenty to work on when fifth of 13 in maiden at the Curragh (1m, good to firm) on debut just over 2 weeks ago. Should improve with that under his belt.
Lilbittyprettyone (IRE)
Ran to a fair level on debut but failed to build on that in a couple of subsequent starts last year. Upped markedly in trip for her return and handicaps will probably be more her thing.
My Shayla (IRE)
€13,000 yearling, Phoenix of Spain filly. Sister to useful winner up to 1¾m Dancingwithmyself and half-sister to 3 winners, including winner up to 8.2f Bing Bang Bong. Dam unraced. Tongue tied for debut.
