OUR LUCKY LADY wasn't seen to best effect over hurdles at the Punchestown Festival, so having won both starts on the Flat since she remains capable of better in this sphere. She gets the vote ahead of Splashing Out, who was a wide-margin winner on her latest outing, while Kenisa Sport is one to note on handicap debut.

Timeform Comments

Kenisa Sport (FR)
Made it third time lucky in bumpers and struck at first time of asking over hurdles in 2m Kilbeggan maiden a year ago. Disappointing in novice at Perth (2½m) when last seen in September, but no surprise to see her bounce back sent handicapping on return.
Beauforts Storm (IRE)
Fairly useful hurdler in 2024/25 and seemed to do a whole lot better than previously over fences when second in maiden at Tramore on penultimate start. Hampered when unseating last time, but hadn't been in much form when last seen over hurdles (well held in May).
Splashing Out (IRE)
Has been back in better form reverted to hurdling the last twice, getting back to winning ways with a comfortable success in 6-runner handicap at Tramore 6 weeks ago, the runner-up scoring next time. Merits consideration from what remains a workable mark.
Our Lucky Lady (IRE)
Built on her hurdling debut effort when winning maiden over this C&D in October. Better than result when ninth of 24 on handicap hurdle debut at Punchestown in May and has since won back-to-back races on the Flat. Major player with more still to offer in this sphere.
Radar Ahead
Sole success came in this race last year but hasn't always convinced with her jumping, returning from a decent spell on the Flat when unseating at the first at Downpatrick last month. Seemed stretched by 25f at Bellewstown 8 days ago, though remains 6 lb above her winning mark.
Keilah (IRE)
Fair Flat winner for W. McCreery who showed more than previously over hurdles when third in a Down Royal maiden last summer. Has possibly needed the run at this course both starts for current yard this year (back hurdling last time). Makes handicap debut in this sphere.
Albatala (IRE)
Has returned from 14-month absence as good as ever in 2 starts on the Flat, taking advantage of much-reduced mark when scoring emphatically in 12-runner handicap at Down Royal (10.4f) 22 days ago. Capable of getting involved if she can transfer that form back to hurdling.
Crystabel (IRE)
Back on track with a pair of third-place finishes in maidens to start the current campaign, including at this course (2¼m) on first occasion. Below-par effort when sixth of 16 here last time, so will need to find more as she goes handicapping.
Doyen Magic (IRE)
Made a successful chasing debut last summer and capitalised on a lower hurdles mark when making all at Limerick in November. However, having faced competition for the lead she's run below form both starts over fences this season.
Steps In The Sand (IRE)
Landed a hat-trick on the Flat last summer and, fit from the level, shaped better than result when fourth of 14 in handicap hurdle at Downpatrick (2¾m) last month, hampered 4 out. On a workable mark in this sphere if building on latest effort back down in trip.
