TELL US THIS signed off his time with Gavin Cromwell with a win and can resume winning ways on his second start for a new yard with the drop back in trip in his favour. Wolf Prince could be very well treated back hurdling for the first time in over 2 years, whilst Dairy Force arrives in good form.

Timeform Comments

Wolf Prince (IRE)
Won back-to-back handicap hurdles in spring 2024 prior to a 2-year absence. Looked rusty returning on the Flat for this yard in April but took a step back in the right direction when fifth at Ballinrobe last time. On a very handy mark if retaining ability in this sphere with cheekpieces on 1st time.
Stormbreaker
Good second in a Punchestown handicap on the final day of 2024 prior to finishing mid-division in similar races at 3 major Festivals (making ground when wiped out in the Martin Pipe at Cheltenham). Betting may prove best guide having left W. P. Mullins during this 14-month absence.
One Last Tango (IRE)
Winless since scoring at Leopardstown in December 2023 and though has been largely reliable in defeat over fences in recent seasons, albeit unseating too far out to suggest the outcome at Leopardstown last time. Reverts to hurdling for first time in over 2 years after a 6-month break here.
Bridgehead (IRE)
Bellewstown maiden winner in July 2024 who was absent for 21 months after his next start. Confirmed he retains ability when second of 10 in handicap hurdle at Downpatrick (2¼m, good to firm, 28/1) 28 days ago, faring best of those held up. Respected.
Cappucino (IRE)
Bumper/hurdles winner who developed a patchy record over fences last season but went with a more encouragement reverted to hurdling when fourth of 8 in handicap at Listowel (2m, good to soft) 41 days ago, still holding every chance when making a final-flight error. Not ruled out.
Grange Walk (IRE)
Back to form despite not being ideally placed when fourth of 8 in handicap hurdle at Limerick (21f, heavy) in April and backed that up with another creditable third of 13 in handicap chase (9/1) at Ballinrobe (2½m, good) 48 days ago. Might need a couple of these to falter if he's to score, though.
Tell Us This (IRE)
Capitalised on a drop in grade back over hurdles when comfortably winning a 7-runner claimer at Tramore (2m) on final start for Gavin Cromwell and ran at least as well in defeat over a trip perhaps further than optimal when third of 10 in handicap hurdle at Downpatrick (19f, good) last time.
Listentillitellyea (IRE)
Ran well in listed handicap chases at Fairyhouse and Punchestown in spring 2025 but hasn't shown a great deal since taking a heavy fall at the Galway Festival subsequently. Reverts to hurdling here.
Dairy Force (IRE)
Runner-up at Downpatrick and Bellewstown in the spring. Quicky back to form when filling the same position in an 11-runner handicap hurdle at Limerick (2m, good) 10 days ago, having no chance with a wide-margin winner. Can make mistakes, though.
Maxwell Smart (IRE)
Ran up to his best when third in Downpatrick novice last month but ran one of his lesser races on the Flat 10 days ago and others make more appeal having his first start in a handicap hurdle.
Mary's Pride (IRE)
Added to a decent record fresh when returning from a 5-month break to finish second of 15 at Ballinrobe (2m) in May. Shaped as if still in good form without looking particularly suited by the step up in trip when seventh of 16 in handicap hurdle (9/1) at Punchestown (19f, good) 35 days ago.
Phoenix Arizona (IRE)
One of better efforts when fourth of 10 in claiming hurdle (40/1) at this course (2¼m, soft) 33 days ago on final outing for John F. O'Neill. Cheekpieces on 1st time. Plenty to find making handicap hurdle debut from out of the weights.
