Timeform View

Back on a handy mark, BALLINABOOLA GOLD may open her account in first-time cheekpieces. Last-time out winner Eggler rates the main danger in a wide-open handicap, while Pahlavi and Andyourbirdcansing look interesting off slipping marks.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Annarubyrose traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP on 2 of its last 5 starts: Pourquoi Poi traded at 25% or less of Betfair SP twice on its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

Mickey Cohen (IRE)
Versatile type who justified support when making a winning chasing debut at Downpatrick last September. Beaten only by a well-handicapped one over hurdles at Tipperary (23f, soft) the following month. Should give a good account if ready to roll after a break.
Pahlavi (IRE)
Has cut little ice in 4 starts this year. Successful last time he contested this grade at Downpatrick (2m) last August. May well bounce back in first-time blinkers.
Pourquoi Poi (IRE)
Relatively lightly-raced 5-y-o. Off the mark in 2½m handicap hurdle at Punchestown under Jack Kennedy last season. Looked to have returned in good heart over fences prior to being brought down on hurdles return at Bellewstown last week.
Art Of Silence (IRE)
Looked badly out of sorts last year and fared no better sent chasing on return. Hard to be confident first-time blinkers will spark a revival.
The Eggler (IRE)
Fifth in big-field event on handicap bow at Galway last autumn. Belatedly improved on that to make a winning return over C&D in early-May. Dug deep that day (freshened up since), and he's expected to go well again off 5 lb higher.
Tomas O Maille (IRE)
Out of form since finishing runner-up behind an improving, subsequent winner in a handicap at Ballinrobe in August. Down the field in a course claimer last time.
Annarubyrose (IRE)
Low-mileage 5-y-o. Improved second on reappearance/stable debut at Downpatrick (2¾m). Finished creditable fourth over same C&D 2 weeks on. No surprise to see her get back on the up following a short break.
Coup D'essay (FR)
Failed to justify support when seventh of 15 in handicap hurdle (13/2) at Limerick (2½m, soft) in late-May. Seemingly thought capable of better by good yard.
Las Brisas Boy (IRE)
Showed he can be competitive in this company when fifth in big-field handicap at Punchestown in May. Now tried in first-time cheekpieces over longer trip (bred to suit) following a lesser effort at Tramore (2m) on latest start.
Andyourbirdcansing (IRE)
Winless since her success in a course maiden over 2 years ago. Slipped to an attractive mark having failed to get home over slightly longer trips at Ballinrobe/Downpatrick in recent months. Good-value claimer back aboard.
Danesfort Mayfly (IRE)
Heavy-ground handicap winner at Tramore. Showed in nothing 3 starts last winter following a year off.
Leo Messy (IRE)
Well beaten at long odds in maidens over the spring. Now sent handicapping in first-time tongue strap. Hard to be confident that he'll make an immediate impact, though.
Ballinaboola Gold (IRE)
Back on same mark as when clear second of 18 at Punchestown (3m) in May. Didn't jump well enough to repeat that effort at Limerick latest. First-time cheekpieces should help in that regard, and she's weighted to run a big race.
At The Wings (IRE)
Placed in a bumper in 2024. Little to shout about over hurdles. Down the field on first try over a trip bred to suit at Fairyhouse (2½m, heavy) last November.
Lost Features (IRE)
Again offered little on second start in a handicap at Limerick (2½m, soft) in late-May.
Lord De Choisel (FR)
Back to something like his debut form on qualifying run at Clonmel in April. Could build on that now sent handicapping in first-time tongue strap, provided he's ready to roll. RESERVE.
Echinacea
Fair maiden on the Flat. Showed ability when fourth in Downpatrick maiden hurdle second time up in this sphere. Type to do better now tackling low-grade handicaps and one to watch for support. RESERVE.
Coole Vision (IRE)
Pulled up in a point in the spring before offering little on belated return to Rules at this course (2¼m) last month. RESERVE.
