Given his ability on the Flat and previous hurdling experience, it'll probably pay to side with the returning GOD OF FIRE. The main danger is Jasper Glory, whose excellent new yard has enjoyed success with similar types.

Timeform Comments

God Of Fire (IRE)
Fairly useful handicapper on Flat (stays 11f). Related to winners in this sphere. Ran to similar level as on hurdle debut when 11 lengths fourth at Hereford in April (first 3 won next time out). Sets the standard of those with previous hurdling experience, though has a 15-month absence to overcome.
Jasper Glory (IRE)
£4,000 4-y-o, Wings of Eagles gelding. Dam, sister to fairly useful hurdler/useful chaser (stayed 25f) Father Edward and out of half-sister to useful 2m/3m chaser Livingstonebramble. Third in Irish point in April. Yard has done well with similarly inexpensive types. Tongue strap on for Rules debut.
Little Twig (IRE)
Order of St George mare. Placed on second of 2 starts in Irish points. Didn't achieve much when fourth on her recent hurdling debut at Bangor. Probably needs more time/distance.
Maria Mes (FR)
In good hands and showed more than in a couple of bumpers when well-held fourth (still green) on hurdling debut at Fontwell on return. Entitled to come on for that experience, though she may just be a longer-term project.
