An improver over hurdles upon joining Joe Tizzard, winning at Wincanton last spring and doubling his tally for the yard after 6 months off here in May. Ran respectably despite coming off bridle some way out when second in a 5-runner handicap here (2¾m) 47 days ago. Makes chase debut in blinkers.
Limerick Leader (FR)
Made a positive start for this yard when just denied at Southwell on return last month and just got tired late after leading for a long way when third of 5 in handicap chase at this C&D (good) 20 days ago. Tongue strap back on and bold bid from the front expected.
The Gypsy Davey (IRE)
Rather lost his way over fences last season and fared no better reverted to hurdling at Stratford 2 weeks ago. Hard to fancy at present.
It's A Breeze (IRE)
Modest maiden hurdler but strikes as the type to do better over fences and still looked to be going ok when falling 4 out on first attempt at Fontwell in April. Folded tamely after travelling into the lead here (3¼m) last time but he's of serious interest now dropping back in trip.
