Timeform View

Michael Herrington is continuing to knock in the winners on a regular basis so his PAPA COCKTAIL gets the vote to go one place better than at Doncaster last time. The lightly-raced Bintola is feared most back at the scene of her reappearance win. Amazonian Dream and An Outlaw's Grace are others with good recent C&D form.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Sir Alfie traded at 10% or less of Betfair SP, 25% or less of Betfair SP and 50% or less of Betfair SP twice on 4 of its last 5 starts.

Timeform Comments

An Outlaw's Grace (IRE)
Winless since debut but he has been placed twice over C&D off his reduced mark in recent months. Likely to be on the premises again.
Papa Cocktail (IRE)
Wolverhampton winner in January. Creditable second of 8 in handicap at Doncaster (6f, firm, 9/2) 17 days ago. Merits consideration for in-form stable.
Jax Edge
Capped a largely consistent 2025 with success at Bath and proved better than ever back at that track when winning 10-runner event (5.7f, good to firm) last month. Faded late on over this C&D since but probably still in form.
Slay Queen (IRE)
Progressive last summer but struggled at the end of last season and also well held on both comeback starts this year. Something to prove at present.
Bintola
Left her juvenile form well behind when off the mark in 14-runner C&D handicap (good to firm) on reappearance in May. A 7 lb rise proved enough to stop her at Newmarket since but it's still early days and this place evidently suits.
Media Darling
Won 6f Ayr maiden last summer but has found life harder since, including failing to beat a rival on Doncaster reappearance.
Sir Alfie (IRE)
Fairly useful winner in Ireland last year but has lost his way since leaving Ger Lyons.
Under The Twilight
Ran well when second at Leicester in April. Backed that up when fourth over C&D in May but below par when filling the same position back at Leicester latest.
Amazonian Dream (IRE)
Three-time C&D winner who was placed over C&D for the second time this season when runner-up under Oisin Murphy a fortnight ago. Likely to figure again but his losing run is mounting up.
Tanmawwy (IRE)
A fair 7f winner at Epsom in 2024 but has offered little on both starts since returning from a long absence, pulling up latterly. Has a hood and blinkers combined for the first time.
Kiss And Run
Close second over 5f here in May. Latest Lingfield third also creditable but it is now the best part of 2 years since she last got her head in front.
Hayynah
Put experience to good use to get off the mark in 9-runner Southwell novice (5f) in February but has failed to make a significant impact in handicaps since (C&D latest).
