Timeform View

JKR COBBLER had a few of these behind when winning over C&D just over a week ago and can confirm that superiority under a 4-lb penalty. War Memorial is entitled to be in the mix on recent efforts, while Ramon di Loria may have to settle for more minor money.

Timeform Comments

Imperial Guard (IRE)
Yet to win a handicap and tumbled a long way in the weights as a result. Respectable fifth at Thirsk 12 days ago and may yet be working his way back to form.
Jkr Cobbler (IRE)
Gained a fifth C&D success by 1¾ lengths from Lope Y Linda in 11-runner handicap just 8 days ago. Looks well treated under a 4-lb penalty and has to be taken seriously in follow-up bid.
War Memorial
Finally off the mark at Musselburgh (7f) in April and recorded a second success in 8-runner handicap at Catterick (7f, firm, 11/4) 3 weeks ago with this good-value claimer in the saddle. Can go well again in current form.
Ramon Di Loria (IRE)
Course winner who landed back-to-back successes at Wolverhampton earlier this year. Returned to form with a pair of third-placed finishes on last 2 starts and has to enter calculations.
Tap Dancer
Has failed to fully fire this season since joining this yard but it's still just early days with her in that regard. Back down in trip and is one to dismiss at your peril from this mark.
Penny Mountain (IRE)
Has just a sole success at Newcastle on New Year's Day to her record but has largely remained in form since. Shaped better than distance beaten suggests when 3½ lengths fifth behind JKR Cobbler over C&D 8 days ago, meeting trouble at a crucial point. Enters calculations.
Monhammer
C&D winner who's on long losing run. Not disgraced after losing ground at the start when 3½ lengths fourth to JKR Cobbler over C&D 8 days ago. Each-way claims at best.
Due Respect (IRE)
Sole success came at Redcar (7f) last July. One of best runs since when fourth of 9 in handicap at Musselburgh (7f, good to firm, 33/1) 21 days ago.
Bantz (IRE)
Twelve runs since last win in 2025 and no real signs of a revival for new yard this year. Can only be watched at present.
