Timeform View

GRAFFITI looks the percentage call following his win in classified company at Brighton last week. Sapphire Dream looks interesting on just his third start for capable new yard, while Charles Morin and Smoker Bellamy are both weighed to go well.

Timeform Comments

Graffiti
Yet to win over 1½m but wasn't beaten far over similar distance at Windsor on penultimate start. Snapped a long losing run in convincing fashion in a similar event at Brighton (1¼m) 6 days ago. Concedes weight to the field, but that probably won't be enough to prevent a follow up.
Alex The Great (IRE)
Fifth in 0-60 handicap at Wolverhampton latest Flat start in spring. Cut little ice over hurdles since. Tongue strap refitted for drop back into classified company.
Belle Of Kt
Off the mark in classified company at Wolverhampton in March. Probably found the quick turnaround against her when run of good form came to a halt at Ffos Las 20 days ago.
Brave Guest (IRE)
Temperamental maiden on Flat for Jack Channon. Did show more aptitude for hurdling when placing in couple of juvenile events for current yard last winter. Worth a market check back on level following 5 months off.
Charles Morin
Ran about as well as he has for current yard when runner-up in C&D handicap in February. Fared no better than previously over hurdles latest. Could bounce back dropped into classified company sporting first-time visor (replacing cheekpieces).
Douglas Dc (IRE)
Winning hurdler remains a maiden after 25 Flat runs. Poor fifth in handicap at Brighton under retained Billy Loughnane latest. Now drops into a classified event for first time.
Hawaiian King (IRE)
Significantly back up in trip (with cheekpieces refitted) having lacked the pace to get involved in Kempton handicap (1m) latest. Hard to be confident he'll trouble the judge, though.
Pablo Prince
Not the same force as when successful 3 times over C&D in 2022/23. Has hit the frame couple of times this year and easy to put a line through his latest effort in handicap at Epsom (1½m).
Blue Birdie (IRE)
Has shown little in 4 starts. Now tried in headgear over longer trip. Looks the least likely of the yard's trio.
Lilykoy
Yard has had success with this family. Showed much more when fifth in similar event at Windsor on reappearance. Never going in a handicap at Epsom subsequently. Cannot be discounted back down in grade under good-value claimer.
Make It Up (IRE)
Isn't living up to his pedigree but did finish third in pair of all-weather handicaps over the spring. Matched that form when fifth at Wolverhampton last time and could make more impact dropped into basement event by in-form stable.
Mister Pretentious
Again showed nothing on handicap debut (in first-time cheekpieces) on turf course here last time.
Sapphire Dream (IRE)
Third in a similar event at Yarmouth on return before proving no match for a rejuvenated one in C&D handicap 7 days ago. Hasn't been long with yard doing well with new recruits.
Smoker Bellamy (IRE)
Best effort when runner-up in a 9.5f Wolverhampton handicap in April. Blinkers discarded having been too lit up on first start in classified company there last time. Could do better if proving more tractable over significantly longer trip.
