Timeform View

OKLAHOMA pulled clear of the remainder when runner-up on debut at the Curragh (7f) and is fancied to go one better. Stablemate Capability Brown, City of Dubai and Francillon appeal most of the newcomers.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Oklahoma traded at a low of 4.50 and Betfair SP of 9.20 when losing last time, a race in which it raced prominently.

Timeform Comments

Capability Brown (IRE)
Foaled March 20. Dubawi colt. Half-brother to several winners, including very smart 1m (2000 Guineas and including at 2 yrs) winner (stayed 1½m) Saxon Warrior and smart 1m-1¼m winner Drumroll. Dam 2-y-o 6f/7f winner, including Moyglare Stakes. Excellent pedigree and holds Group 1 entries. Respected.
City Of Dubai (IRE)
€260,000 yearling. Mehmas colt. Half-brother to smart winner up to 10.7f (stayed 12.5f) Bear Story (2-y-o 1m winner) and 7.7f-1¼m winner (stays 13f) Slieve Bearnagh. Dam 1¼m/10.4f winner (stayed easy 1½m). Group 1 entrant is in very capable hands and needs a close look in the betting first time up.
Francillon
Frankel colt. Dam, winner up to 8.5f (2-y-o 6f winner), sister to smart 5f-6f winner Sacred Bridge (also successful first time up) and closely related to smart winner up to 1¼m Crossed Baton. Bred to be precocious and no surprise to see him in the shake-up (connections had debut winner last week).
Green Dreamer (IRE)
Foaled March 25. €40,000 yearling, Churchill colt. Half-brother to 3 winners, including 6f winner Pure Circle and 7f winner Spirit of Saxony. In excellent hands but faces some better-calibre rivals on racecourse bow.
Oklahoma (USA)
Wootton Bassett colt out of connections' British Champions Fillies & Mares Stakes winner Hydrangea. Shaped well to finish second behind an experienced stablemate on debut at the Curragh (7f). Expected to improve up in trip and has strong claims to get off the mark.
Zarak Pasha (IRE)
Foaled February 24. €65,000 yearling, 75,000 gns 2-y-o, Zarak colt. Dam unraced half-sister to very smart 1½m-2½m winner Courage Mon Ami. Looks the pick of Joseph O'Brien's duo on paper (holds Group 1 entries), though will probably come into his own over further.
