Timeform View

MOLTO AMICHI ran well in defeat at Leopardstown last time, giving best only late on, and could take some pegging back if applying similarly positive tactics back at 1m. Earls arrives on the back of a pair of good efforts and can make his presence felt, whilst Quatre Bras is also capable of being involved if putting his best foot forward.

Timeform Comments

Howyoulikethat (IRE)
Previous C&D winner who was below his best in a trio of runs on the all-weather in the spring, shaping with little promise when last seen in March. Has dropped below last winning mark now, though, and any market support should be noted.
American Lawyer (USA)
Useful performer at his best in France for A. & G. Botti, though hasn't been seen since finishing 5½ lengths fourth of 10 to My Fancy in claimer at Deauville in August 2025. Hard to make a case for on debut for a new yard, who often adopt a patient approach, after an 11-month absence.
Quatre Bras (IRE)
Enjoyed fruitful all-weather campaign in the winter but has been more hit and miss since switching back to turf, running poorly at Cork last time. Drop in trip unlikely to pose a problem and capable of being involved if on a going day.
Earls (IRE)
Has shaped much more encouragingly of late, finding only a single rival too good at Roscommon in May and at Limerick in June, beaten a ½ length by Monvoe on latest. 2 lb above last winning mark now but has been successful off higher marks in the past and sure to make presence felt.
Molto Amichi (IRE)
Stepped up on reappearance when 2¼ lengths second of 15 to Daler at Leopardstown, having benefit of enterprising ride. Remains on a handy mark despite 2 lb rise, and, while best form has come at trips at around 9f, the drop back to 1m shouldn't be an issue.
Louiescall (IRE)
Career best when winning 11-runner handicap at Leopardstown (15f, good) last summer. Not seen since disappointing in a maiden hurdle at Limerick in October and entitled to be sharper for this return.
Marta's Prince (IRE)
Trained in France last year and won 9f claimer at Clairefontaine during the summer. Showed very little on debut for this yard at Roscommon last time.
Grey Leader (IRE)
Got back to winning ways at Tipperary in October when trained by Joseph G. Murphy. However, has offered little encouragement in 4 outings for current yard this season and, while handicapper has given him a chance, he's unlikely to be of much interest unless market states otherwise.
