SEA OF THE CELTS is clearly held in high regard by connections judged on her Irish Oaks entry and is taken to start paying back her expensive purchase price by making a winning debut. Vauntingly sets the standard on her 2 recent runner-up efforts and looks the biggest threat, while White Sand Beach holds solid place claims.

Timeform Comments

Benaki (IRE)
Camelot half-sister to 3 winners. Made promising start when 4½ lengths second of 7 to Chablis Rock in maiden at Limerick (1½m, good to soft, 11/1) in April but went backwards from that effort when down the field at Cork the following month. Needs to get back on track.
Cite Florale (FR)
Fair form when placed on last 2 starts, chasing home the useful Believed in a 1½m maiden at Dundalk on latest. Holds place claims again kept to this company.
De Vega Queen (IRE)
Lope De Vega filly. Has shown clear signs of ability on both maiden outings to date, 4¾ lengths fourth of 12 to Carmel's Phoenix at Cork on latest. Needs to step up to feature here, though, and it's likely she'll fare better once tackling handicaps.
Guinelot (FR)
Camelot filly. Shaped quite well when 11½ lengths fifth of 10 to Charm Of Venice in maiden at Down Royal on debut but is probably one for handicaps later on.
Hey Stella (IRE)
Third foal, half-sister to 2-y-o 7f winner Promo Queen (by Advertise). Dam 1m-1¼m winner. Makes some appeal on paper but yard have registered just 4 winners from 37 debutants over the past 12 months.
Invincible Destiny (IRE)
Little impact in maidens at Cork and Fairyhouse.
Phlox (IRE)
Camelot filly. Half-sister to several winners, including smart 9f/9.4f winner Maxux and useful winner up to 1¼m Cunco. Dam winner up to 1¼m. Interesting debutant for yard having good spell.
Sea Of The Celts (IRE)
525,000Y, first foal: dam, 11.5f-1¾m winner who stayed 16.5f, half-sister to smart winner up to 2m Prince of Arran. Expensive purchase and well-bred filly who holds an entry in the Irish Oaks and is expected to take some beating on debut for yard well capable of readying one first time up.
Soigne (IRE)
Has an eye-catching pedigree but has looked one for later on when well held on both outings to date.
Vauntingly (IRE)
Well-bred filly who has been placed on all 3 starts, 2¾ lengths second of 10 to Charm Of Venice in maiden at Down Royal on latest. Bred to be suited by this step up in trip and just about sets the standard.
White Sand Beach (USA)
Well-bred filly who has struggled outside of maiden company but has yet to finish outside of the first 3 in 5 maiden outings, chasing home Moonlit Sun in 19-runner event at Navan on latest. Vulnerable to less-exposed sorts.
