Timeform View

GEORGE WICKHAM left his debut form well behind when staying on under a hands-and-heels ride behind a promising one at Yarmouth last month and, with nothing of that calibre likely in opposition, he's fancied to go one better. Sugar Sugar has looked a hard ride so far but is an obvious threat on form judged on her recent third at Brighton. Eveninginparis and Thorpe Green are a couple of newcomers to keep an eye on in the betting, especially with the standard set not that high.

Timeform Comments

Blazing Gaden
Of little account over hurdles and easily passed over on Flat debut.
Coilltedudeisback
A'ali gelding. Half-brother to 7.6f-1¼m winner Princess Niyla. Dam 9.5f/1¼m winner. Market for clues.
Deadline (FR)
Kameko gelding who showed some ability when sixth of 11 in novice (66/1) at Doncaster (7f, good to firm) on debut last month, leading until over 1f out. Went backwards from that effort by some margin at Chepstow, however.
George Wickham (IRE)
Left debut form from 10 months earlier well behind when second of 8 in novice at Yarmouth (6f, soft, 66/1) 33 days ago, staying on under hands-and-heels ride. Leading player on that form.
Smooth Flight
66/1, last of 8 in novice at Lingfield (6f, good to firm) on debut 26 days ago.
Eveninginparis (IRE)
26,000 gns yearling, Starman filly. Half-sister to 5f-1¼m winner Goose Rock and 2-y-o 1m winner Messerschmitt. Dam 2-y-o 7f/7.4f winner. Wouldn't need to be anything out of the ordinary to make an impact on debut.
Good Guys Girl
Showed only greenness when seventh of 8 in maiden at this course (5f) on debut 28 days ago. Needs a big step forward.
Honky Tonk Girl
Dream Ahead filly (half-sister to yard's useful Dr Strangelove). Penny dropped late when fifth of 11 on debut at Bath (5.7f). Couldn't match that form at Southwell 9 days ago but retains some potential.
Mariselle (IRE)
No Nay Never filly who went backwards from debut effort when seventh of 9 in 5f novice at Nottingham 10 days ago. Back up in trip.
Sugar Sugar (IRE)
Left her debut form behind tackling a 1f longer trip when third of 6 in maiden (50/1) at Brighton (6f, good) 23 days ago, despite looking tricky again. Must enter calculations.
Thorpe Green
Mayson filly. Dam unraced. Needs a market check, especially with Billy Loughnane booked.
Just Dreaming
Very green when fifth of 6 in novice (28/1) at Kempton (5f) on debut. Off 15 months. Up in trip. First run for yard after leaving Mark Usher.
Mimime (IRE)
Has shown little in a maiden/minor event.
