Timeform View

A gilt-edged opportunity for CELTIC MOTIF, who reached a fairly useful level for this yard a couple of years ago and returns to her former handler following a spell in the States. Taj Crown and Glittering Gem look her biggest threats and can chase home Joseph O'Brien's filly in that order.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

In a race that lacks confirmed pace-forcers, Acanto could get the run of things: Of the better-fancied horses, Taj Crown is most likely to be ridden furthest from the pace.

Timeform Comments

Acanto (IRE)
Churchill filly who offered something to work on when fifth of 11 in maiden (14/1) at the Curragh (7f, heavy) on debut 4 months ago. Should improve.
Capolinea (IRE)
Harzand filly. Sister to 1¼m winner Harseva and half-sister to several winners, including useful 6f/7f winner Aramis Grey and winner up to 8.3f Rayoumti. Dam unraced.
Celtic Motif (IRE)
Displayed fairly useful form for this yard in 2024 and is now back with former trainer after a spell in the States, last seen when a close third of 11 at Tampa Bay (8.5f, firm) 6 months ago. Tongue tie goes on and she'll take some stopping with Murphy booked provided she's ready to go.
Glittering Gem (IRE)
Frankel filly who went backwards from debut when tenth of 13 in maiden at Leopardstown (9f, heavy) when last seen in October. Surely has more to offer somewhere down the line.
Rest Your Mind (IRE)
No better than mid-division in 3 maidens last year, though shaped better than the bare result on latest when sixth of 15 in maiden at Galway (7f, heavy), finishing with running left. Has moved yards since and interesting to see what the market makes of her on return.
Taj Crown (IRE)
Runner-up in Limerick claimer last month and quickly put a lesser effort behind her when sixth of 14 in maiden at Roscommon (1½m, good to soft) 2 weeks ago, arguably deserving of some extra credit for doing best of those held up. Back down in trip and first-time tongue tie goes on.
Zesty Belle (IRE)
Tamayuz filly who matched her debut effort when eighth of 13 in maiden at Dundalk (1m) back in November. Jolt of improvement needed on return/turf debut.
