Timeform View

Richard O'Brien won this last year and might be able to double up with CONCAIRE, who shaped well when narrowly denied at Limerick last month and had an excuse at Down Royal since. Recent Bellewstown second Cause I Like You is second choice ahead of Oisin Murphy's mount Zheleznaya Dama.

Timeform Comments

Sunrise Angel (IRE)
Well held on both starts this year, although he did have an excuse (caught wide) last time. Andy Slattery has tasted recent success in this race.
Zheleznaya Dama (USA)
Good fifth of 14 in handicap (12/1) at Limerick (6.7f, good) 3 days ago. Back up in trip. Has to enter calculations with Oisin Murphy taking the reins.
Wicklow Gap (IRE)
Made a promising return in a first-time tongue tie when fourth of 14 at Roscommon in May but has failed to build on it twice since. First-time cheekpieces are added to the tongue tie now.
Concaire (IRE)
Low-mileage 3-y-o who went close in 7f Limerick handicap in June. Things didn't go his way at Down Royal since and worth another chance for last year's winning yard.
De Songbird (IRE)
Lightly-raced maiden. 33/1, below form seventh of 13 in handicap at Leopardstown (1m, soft) 40 days ago.
Sayonara (IRE)
No impact in handicaps on last 3 outings, including at Limerick on Saturday.
Tavarua (IRE)
Lightly-raced maiden. 8/1 and visored first time, not seen to best effect when eighth of 14 on handicap debut at Ballinrobe (9.7f, good to soft) 22 days ago, not clear run. Billy Lee retains the ride.
Wingit (IRE)
20/1 and tongue strap on first time, first run since leaving Gavin Cromwell when ninth of 16 in handicap at Naas (11f, good) 10 days ago, doing too much too soon. The drop back in trip looks a good move.
Six Wings (IRE)
Little form. Cheekpieces on first time, tenth of 16 in handicap at Naas (11f, good, 40/1) 10 days ago. Back down in trip. Hard to make a case for
Stonyfalls (IRE)
First impact when third of 15 in handicap at Bellewstown (1m, good, 25/1) 12 days ago. Claims if she can back that up. Engaged 8.30 here on Monday.
Garryowen Green (IRE)
No form. 25/1, fourteenth of 17 in handicap at Leopardstown (9f, soft) 33 days ago.
Ramair (IRE)
Ninth of 14 in handicap (33/1) at Gowran (1m, good to soft) 70 days ago. Others are more obvious.
Beau Army (IRE)
Back-to-back 7f winner at Dundalk in November/January. Form has been mixed since but latest Bellewstown fifth respectable.
Cause I Like You (IRE)
Creditable second of 15 in handicap (5/1) at Bellewstown (1m, good) 12 days ago. Merits consideration.
