Timeform View

MY GIRL GRACE overcame inexperience to make a winning start to her career at Leopardstown last month and is selected to make light of an opening mark off 83 for in-form Ger Lyons. Speckled Meadow should be suited by the return to further and is second choice ahead of Joseph O'Brien's new recruit Ankara, who looks fairly treated on the pick of her French form.

Timeform Comments

Ankara (FR)
Useful dual winner in France for Henri-Francois Devin. Joined a top stable and would enter calculations if the betting speaks in her favour back from 8 months off.
Spanish Temptress (IRE)
Course winner. 13/8, career best when winning 6-runner handicap at Limerick (1m, heavy) 25 days ago, driven out. Significantly up in trip.
Diamond Exchange (IRE)
Progressed when winning maiden at Dundalk and handicap at Leopardstown this year. Her winning run has been ended the last twice but her stable's good record in this race provides hope.
Saga Gaga (IRE)
Left debut behind when winning 14-runner maiden at Gowran (9.5f, good to soft, 14/1) 32 days ago, keeping on well. Up in trip. Likely capable of better again but her opening handicap mark isn't obviously generous.
Concert Party (IRE)
Dual Flat winner for Richard Hannon last autumn but hasn't bettered modest form over hurdles since joining Denis Hogan. It remains to be seen whether a return to the level helps to spark a revival.
Jeaniemacaroney (IRE)
Fairly useful Flat and hurdle winner during her time with Joseph O'Brien. Off since finishing fifth over hurdles last autumn. Best watched unless the betting vibes are strong on return for new yard.
Forthill (FR)
Placed in 2 maidens last year, including C&D. Below expectations when tenth of 15 in maiden at Bellewstown (11.4f, soft) on return in April but ran closer to form when third at Dundalk on Sunday.
My Girl Grace (IRE)
9/2, won 12-runner maiden at Leopardstown (1¼m, soft) on debut 40 days ago. Lacks experience but looks a useful prospect for a yard enjoying a good summer.
So Must I (IRE)
Winner at Dundalk in February. Creditable fourth in 11f handicap at Sligo in May. Remote fourth in listed race at Leopardstown since but stands a much greater chance back in a handicap.
Speckled Meadow (IRE)
Won 10.5f Naas handicap last October. Not disgraced in handicaps over 1m/9f on last 2 outings and interesting now moving back up in trip.
