Timeform View

JORAH D'ALMA sets the standard on his third at Bangor in March and receives the vote with the step up in trip likely to be within range. Loman Lady flopped badly on her hurdling debut at Hexham but will surely prove capable of appreciably better, with Trigger The Light also commanding respect.

Timeform Comments

Jorah D'alma (FR)
Irish point winner who came from off the pace to win a Ludlow bumper. Low-key start to hurdling career but much more like it fitted with a tongue tie when third at Bangor in March and not disgraced 10 weeks on from a fall when filling same spot here (2m) 15 days ago. Likely to stay beyond 2½m.
Mr Rafiki (IRE)
Just modest form at best in maidens so far but it's possible he could raise his game over this longer trip.
Trigger The Light (IRE)
Runner-up in a point bumper and showed ability again in a Warwick bumper in October. Pulled up on hurdling debut but more like it following a breathing operation when third of 9 in 2½m maiden at Southwell last month. Longer trip bound to suit.
Loman Lady
Runner-up on final start in points before readily going one better in a Hexham bumper on first run for Dan Skelton. Flopped badly on hurdling debut there 8 days later but will surely prove capable of better.
Mirabello
Steadily progressive in bumpers and shaped like a stayer when third of 7 in maiden (4/1) at Bangor (2½m, good) on recent hurdling debut. Open to improvement stepping up in trip.
Snow Is In The Sky (IRE)
Won 3 finisher Irish point but has finished tailed off both starts over hurdles.
Walkingtheline (IRE)
From the family of a useful chaser and showed some ability in making the frame in a couple of Uttoxeter bumpers for Tom Lacey. Enjoyed some success in points for current yard following low-key hurdle debut but went with no encouragement back under Rules at this course recently.
Witheros Hill (IRE)
Milan filly who finishing last in a Listowel bumper for S. Curling in June 2024. Placed 3 times in points subsequently, though can only be watched on this return to Rules fitted with cheekpieces.
