Previous winners SQUARE D'ALBONI and Chemistry look set to dominate. The former had his Stratford form franked by the runner-up earlier in the week and edges the vote.

Timeform Comments

Chemistry (IRE)
Still capable of useful form on Flat and put up a professional display to make a winning hurdle/stable debut at Sedgefield (16.8f) in April. Failed to land the odds under a penalty at Kelso prior to finishing well held back on the Flat at Newcastle. Still open to improvement in this sphere.
Square D'alboni (FR)
Useful 3-time winner on Flat for Ralph Beckett who made the most of a good opportunity when off the mark at the third time of asking over hurdles (following a breathing operation) in 8-runner maiden at Stratford (19f) 16 days ago. Runner-up has franked that form since and has obvious claims.
Connemara Joe (IRE)
Unplaced in Irish points and has shown little in a pair of maiden hurdles.
Scoro (FR)
Winning pointer but well held in novice and maiden hurdle.
Wait At The Gate (IRE)
€18,000 3-y-o, Doyen gelding. Dam (h99), bumper winner (stayed 21f), half-sister to useful hurdler (stayed 2½m) Mighty Tom. Winning pointer but pulled up on most recent outing (May 24).
Imperial Trooper (IRE)
Fair up to 1¼m at his best on the Flat but out of sorts of late and didn't achieve much tried over hurdles over C&D last month. Probably one for handicaps later on.
Lamlash
Little form on the Flat and pulled up on hurdling debut at Taunton in December.
Baileys Big Image
Failed to beat a rival in a point and has yet to show any ability under Rules.
