SEARCHINGTHEBLUES ran well when third behind a couple of improvers at Kempton last time and she could be ready to take advantage of her reduced mark. Moostar has often been in the mix for her current yard and is feared most in a change of headgear, ahead of Pickersgill.

Having been denied a first win in handicap company (and third success at this course) by the stewards in March, she shaped as if still in good form on return to turf at Musselburgh in April. Below form at Newmarket last time, but she could fare better back here.
Pickersgill (IRE)
Free-going type who opened account for current yard at Southwell (7f) in April, suited by patient tactics. Not quite at the same level on turf next 2 starts but bounced back to her best when runner-up over the same C&D 12 days ago. Enters calculations.
So Sassy (IRE)
Got on top close home when winning on the all-weather at Lingfield (6f) last summer. Shaped positively making only second 7f start when fifth of 12 at the same course in April, so she's worth another chance to build on that following a lesser effort over 6f here next time.
Moostar
Has gone close several times since joining excellent yard and wasted no time leaving behind a below-par effort when runner-up over 6f here 11 days ago. Hood now replaces the visor and she could be thereabouts back up in trip.
Zarinca
Made a winning return in a 6f Southwell maiden in April, the runner-up scoring next time. Has gone the wrong way in 2 turf handicaps since, but she should be suited by this far and a better showing isn't ruled out back on all-weather.
Fizzy Cristal
Dual 6f winner at Newcastle, stepping forward from her reappearance run for her latest success in May. Has run respectably on turf both outings since, fifth of 9 at Doncaster last time, but she seems more effective on all-weather. First try over this trip.
Court Of Stars (IRE)
Showed improved form when successful on handicap/seasonal debut at Kempton (7f) in May. Made the frame on each of her next 3 starts, over 1m on the latest occasion, before seeming stretched by 9.5f at this course 19 days ago.
Hamaleel
Off the mark at Kempton (1m) in January and placed on 3 of next 4 starts. However, found her run of good form coming to a halt when 4½ lengths sixth of 12 to Show Me Gold also at Kempton (7f) 18 days ago.
Searchingtheblues
Without a win since landing her first 2 starts but bounced back from a couple of lesser efforts this season when 2¼ lengths third of 12 to Show Me Gold at Kempton 18 days ago. Major player having eased another 1 lb in the weights.
Show Me Gold
Making handicap debut, did well under the circumstances when opening account in 12-runner contest at Kempton 18 days ago, having to switch to get a clear run. Could still have more to offer, though has widest draw to overcome here.
Molly Mac (IRE)
Remains a maiden but has made a positive start for current yard the last twice, having to challenge widest of all when second in 10-runner contest at this course (6f) 10 days ago. Can give another good account.
