Timeform View

BRANDENBURG is going the right way and may make it 2 wins from 4 starts. It's reasonable to expect more from Beauty For Love and he could be the danger.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Fern Clyde could be expected to race prominently. Of those in the front half of the betting forecast, Tango Hotel might be well positioned in a slowly run affair.

Timeform Comments

Fern Clyde
Improved to get off the mark in an ordinary maiden at Pontefract (6f) before finding stiffer test at Beverley (7.5f) too much. Should be more competitive back down in trip with tongue strap added.
Beauty For Love (IRE)
Good-looking €130,000 Blue Point colt. Stepped forward from debut when third in Ayr maiden. Only beaten 2½ lengths (despite sweating up) in a better race at Doncaster on qualifying run. Needs to improve in line with his opening mark, but that's entirely possible given his profile.
Tango Hotel
Showed improved form in first-time cheekpieces when landing a 5-runner soft-ground maiden at Ffos Las. Not so good under contrasting conditions in 3-runner Hamilton nursery on Thursday.
Brandenburg
Much improved from Brocklesby run when successful in Beverley maiden for Stephen Hanlon. Progressed again when 50/1 second behind an improver on nursery/stable debut at York 6 days ago. Sets a fair standard and may well resume winning ways.
Quiet Soul (IRE)
Held up in a strongly-run race when 33/1 second at Southwell on debut. Well beaten both starts since, but she'll at least benefit from the switch to a low-grade nursery.
