DARN HOT GALLOP is well worth another chance back down in class with her reappearance win on the Rowley Mile proving to be strong form. High Degree will surely be winning a handicap soon so is the obvious threat.

Timeform Comments

High Degree
Proving expensive to follow in handicaps but has been shaping up well this season, not seen to best effect at Musselburgh last time (finished with running left). Stiffer test here will suit and surely has race in him off current mark.
Al Aali (FR)
Runner-up in a Chantilly Group 3 last year when trained by Mlle L. Pontoir but yet to hit those heights for different yards since. However, was stretched by the longer trip here (1½m) 2 weeks ago and mark continues to ease. Change of headgear.
Way Of Life
Tough sort who has been at the top of his game on the all-weather, winning 3 of last 4 starts, but looks vulnerable off career-high mark in this deeper contest back on turf.
Percy's Daydream
Both wins this season have come from the front, including at Beverley last month. Seemed to excel herself when fourth of 5 in listed race there since but she had the run of things that day.
War Hawk (IRE)
Three-time winner last season, latest at Epsom over a year ago. Progress stalled after but continued to hold his form well, including 3 outings at Meydan early in the year. Tongue strap on 1st time.
Darn Hot Gallop
Won a pair of all-weather events in November and took a big step forward on handicap debut when making it 3 from 3 at Newmarket on return (solid form). Easy to forgive next 2 starts so well worth another chance back in calmer waters with step up in trip likely to suit.
