Timeform View

A tricky finale to solve but BORN A REBEL went close to adding to her tally under this rider here last month and is now back down to her optimum trip, Patrick Owens' 5-y-o gets the nod over Prefer The Sister, who made it 2 wins from her last 3 starts at Yarmouth last week and is sure to be popular again carrying a penalty. Veteran Coolagh Magic finally opened his turf account 3 weeks ago and he looks best of the rest.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Prefer The Sister traded at a high of 1.45 and Betfair SP of 1.38 when winning last time, a race in which it raced prominently and travelled strongly early on.

Timeform Comments

Prefer The Sister (IRE)
New yard looks to have found the key to her, recording a second win from her last 3 starts in 6-runner event at Yarmouth (1m, firm) 9 days ago. Carries a 5-lb penalty here and fancied to continue her good work from her revised mark.
Mister Mojito (IRE)
Three wins last spring but failed to come on for reappearance (had breathing operation prior) when sixth of 8 at Yarmouth (7f, good to firm) 3 weeks ago. Now 3 lb below his last winning mark and any market support should be noted.
Born A Rebel
Regular slow starter who won twice over 7f last season (including over C&D) and bounced back to her best when second of 11 at this course (1m, good to firm) last month, breaking on terms but failing to keep straight in front. Every chance she can go one better from 1 lb higher.
Alafdhal (IRE)
Raced almost exclusively on all-weather the last couple of years and little to shout about this season, failing to come on for recent return when sixth of 12 at Wolverhampton (6f) just under 3 weeks ago. Others preferred back on turf.
Sedgemoor (IRE)
Dual 6f winner at Newcastle earlier in the year but mixed bag since, well beaten the last twice at Doncaster/Newbury. First-time cheekpieces the headgear of choice here and the handicapper has given him a chance if able to bounce back.
Chloe's Courage
Won at Chelmsford in December but below form in 3 of 4 starts since, including when last seen at Southwell (7f) in January. Hard to fancy on return.
Coolagh Magic
Veteran who ended long losing run on first try in classified company in 6-runner event at Yarmouth (6f, good to firm) 3 weeks ago. Returns to 7f for the first time since late-2024 and a follow up seems unlikely.
