Timeform View

HAMIYAN not for the first time highlighted this step up in trip looked the way to go when staying on for fourth over 1m at Leopardstown 8 days ago and he shades preference over Camelot Queen who goes in cheekpieces for the first time. Chosen One also merits a second look now her stamina is tested further.

Timeform Comments

Trovao Dourado (IRE)
€7,000 yearling, Dandy Man gelding. Brother to 6f-7.4f winner Cheeky Maxi. Dam, 6f winner, half-sister to 8.5f winner Monaasib. Rates a likely outsider on this belated racecourse bow.
Chloe's Boy (IRE)
Big prices and little encouragement both starts in maidens this summer. Goes up in trip now.
Hamiyan (FR)
Fairly useful gelding who got back on track in first-time cheekpieces and not for the first time shaped as if ready for a step up in trip when staying on for fourth in a 13-runner Leopardstown maiden (1m) 8 days ago.
Royal Ballet Blue (IRE)
€18,000 foal, Elzaam colt. Dam unraced. Passed over unless market vibes prove particularly positive ahead of debut.
Storzando (IRE)
River Boyne gelding. Brother to 5f winner Boyne Lady. 66/1, looked one for handicaps later on when well held sixth in a Fairyhouse maiden (7f) on debut 9 days ago.
Youcansaythatagain (IRE)
Ghaiyyath colt who makes appeal on paper and showed ability whilst shaping as if in need of the experience when seventh in a Curragh maiden (1¼m, good to firm) on debut 21 days ago. Possible he could build on that here.
Camelot Queen (IRE)
Left debut form well behind after 6 months off when third at Leopardstown (1¼m, soft) and back to that sort of form when third in a C&D maiden 4 weeks ago. Player once more with first-time cheekpieces now enlisted.
Chosen One (IRE)
Dubawi filly who has improved by the run to date, posting ber best effort yet when sixth in a Naas maiden (1m) 23 days ago. Bred to stay beyond 1m so feasible to think this longer trip could unlock further progress.
Spry (IRE)
Teofilo filly who was equipped with a tongue strap for debut (discarded here) and could hardly have shown any less when eleventh of 12 in maiden at Fairyhouse (1½m, good, 50/1) 16 days ago.
