Cases can be made for several, but preference is for FEMME MAGNIFIQUE, who got off the mark over fences for new connections at Tramore in May and improved further in defeat when behind the reopposing Mic Drop at Wexford recently. She can reverse placings with that rival here. Of the remainder, Jasko des Dames and Gaelic Arc may also feature.

Timeform Comments

Special Cadeau
Consistent rather than progressive over fences since making a winning debut in this sphere in maiden at Thurles in February 2025, though probably just found Grand Annual Challenge Cup at Cheltenham Festival (2m, good) too competitive last time.
Jasko Des Dames (FR)
Quick to establish himself a better chaser than hurdler in 2024/25, winning twice. Took it up a notch last season, twice a runner up in the autumn before again shaping a bit better than the distance beaten might suggest in Red Rum at Aintree (2m, good to soft) 3 months ago. In the mix.
The Banger Doyle (IRE)
Useful chaser at his best but without a win since autumn 2024. Ran up to best in making the frame for the eleventh time in 14 Flat starts when third of 11 at Tramore (2m, good) 10 days ago but hard to fancy back in this discipline.
Drumgill (IRE)
Landed listed handicap over 17f at Fairyhouse in November. Hasn't gone on from that effort since and failed to revive despite attracting support when pulled up in Midlands National at Kilbeggan (25f, good) last week.
Dreal Deal (IRE)
Bounced straight back to form on return to veterans' company at Ballinrobe on his latest start in May, coming from off the pace to finish second of 13 in a well-run handicap chase. Nudged up 1 lb but should still be competitive. Successful in this last year from 2 lb lower.
Gaelic Arc (IRE)
Unreliable type who scored from out of the blue in 10-runner event at Punchestown (2m) last month. Encouragingly backed that up when going down narrowly at Kilbeggan (2½m, good) 9 days later and fancied to be in the shake-up again.
No Flies On Him (IRE)
Still a maiden after 12 chase runs and increasingly looks one with problems, pulled up at Kilbeggan (2½m, good to soft) in May, his jumping not always fluent in first-time cheekpieces. Headgear discarded and hard to fancy, even with Cobden up for the first time.
Femme Magnifique (IRE)
Off the mark over fences for new trainer when landing 2m Tramore handicap in May from Presenting Lad. Backed up all and more of that progress when 5½ lengths second of 13 to Mic Drop at Wexford (2m, good to soft) since and should give another good account.
Mic Drop (IRE)
Finally notched up a first win over obstacles when landing 14-runner Limerick event in May and made light of a 7 lb rise when following up in 13-runner event at Wexford last month, produced to lead entering straight. Seems sure to go well in his hat-trick bid (2 lb out of weights here).
