SOLDIER'S TREE has rapidly developed into a really smart performer since joining James Owen and is taken to confirm his Wokingham superiority over Binhareer and Mitbaahy.

Timeform Comments

Binhareer (IRE)
Ended 2025 with impressive victory in Coral Sprint Trophy at York (6f, good). Returned to York to finish an eyecatching close second at the Dante meeting in May and shaped as if still in good form when sixth of 27 in Wokingham at Royal Ascot since. Can make presence felt outside of handicaps.
Jasour
Useful sort but without a win since 2024 reappearance. Normally consistent but ran no sort of race in Group 1 company at Royal Ascot last month. It's likely the wait for the next win will go on.
Mitbaahy (IRE)
Group 2 winner who has stood little racing in recent times but showed that plenty of ability remains when fifth (Soldier's Tree third, Binhareer sixth) of 27 in Wokingham at Royal Ascot (6f, good to firm, 50/1) 28 days ago, nearest finish. First-time tongue tie worn there is retained.
Noble Champion (IRE)
Much improved when taking the Jersey Stakes at 2025 Royal Ascot (7f, good to firm) but pulled up lame in the Lennox at Goodwood next time and well below par in 2 comeback outings this year. Plenty to prove at present.
Soldier's Tree (IRE)
Progressive, lightly-raced 5-y-o who has run 2 crackers since joining James Owen, finishing third in 6f Salisbury listed event in May before filling the same position in the ultra-competitive Wokingham at Royal Ascot. Surprise if he's reached his limit for this excellent stable. The one to beat.
Symbol Of Honour
Won C&D listed race and Group 2 Sandy Lane at Haydock at the start of last summer. Hasn't reached the same heights since but returned to Britain with a respectable 2¾ lengths third of 11 to Paborus in Group 3 at Newcastle (6f) 3 weeks ago and is entitled to come on for that first start in 4 months.
Song Of The Clyde
Won a valuable sales race as a juvenile and took it up another notch to bag a C&D listed race (good) in May. Found out in Group 1 company at Royal Ascot since and will need improvement if he's to trouble some of these smart older rivals.
