Timeform View

ALL MOONSHINE shaped much better than the distance beaten suggests in faring best of those in the unfavoured far-side group in a highly-competitive handicap at Royal Ascot on her most recent outing and remains a filly to keep firmly on the right side of. Velvet Rhythm scored readily at Catterick on her latest start and may not yet have reached her ceiling, with the reappearing New Vega another interesting contender given her lightly-raced profile.

Timeform Comments

All Moonshine
Progressive filly who completed a hat-trick on her handicap debut at Kempton in February. Shaped much better than the distance beaten suggests pitched into a highly-competitive affair on turf debut at Royal Ascot (1m) 4 months on and remains unexposed.
New Vega
€450,000 New Bay filly who confirmed her debut promise when completing a simple task with ease in 7f novice at Doncaster in August. Showed better form in defeat in spite of the slightly shorter trip at Deauville on final outing and remains capable of better now sent handicapping after 11 months off.
Tavana
Dual winner at 2 yrs but hasn't bettered that form in 3 runs this season, albeit had plenty on at the weights in a 1m listed event at Sandown latest. Drops back to 7f on return to handicap company.
Brisk Symphony (IRE)
Dual scorer last season who returned with good runner-up efforts in 7f handicaps at Yarmouth (good to firm) and Lingfield (all-weather) this spring. Run best excused at Newmarket subsequently.
Lightning Polka
Night of Thunder filly who looked a useful prospect when scoring on debut at Haydock (6f) last September. Hasn't kicked on subsequently but got back on track in a first-time hood on her first try at 7f when third of 5 at Newmarket a fortnight ago. Needs to build on that now.
Velvet Rhythm
Progressive this season, making it 3 wins from as many starts at Catterick (7f, firm) 10 days ago. Did it readily and further improvement can't be ruled out.
