Timeform View

Ultra competitive despite the small field size with the narrow vote in favour of the sole 3-y-o in the line up TABASKO. She shaped like a strong stayer in the making when second over 1½m at Epsom 17 days ago and with a return to this flatter track also appealing as a likely plus on her first crack at 2m, she could well have a fair bit more to come. Improving hurdler Pergamon is potentially very well treated back in this sphere and shades preference for second over Pyleates.

Timeform Comments

An Bradan Feasa (IRE)
Successful twice over hurdles and on Flat during 2025 and has continued in good form under both codes this year, latest when third in handicap hurdle at Uttoxeter (2m) 3 weeks ago. No reason why he won't go well again with his rider taking off a handy 5 lb.
Pergamon (FR)
Relatively lightly raced on the Flat (fair winner in France) and he comes here on the up over hurdles for his current yard, career best when completing hat-trick of 2m wins at Perth 16 days ago. Could prove well treated back in this sphere so he's interesting.
Pyleates
Fair maiden who fared much better than she had previously on turf under a change of tactics when second of 8 in handicap at Sandown (1¾m, good, 13/2) 15 days ago. That effort gives her something to build on now stamina is tested further and she's shortlisted down in class.
Tabasko
Too Darn Hot filly who arrives having run her best race when second of 10 in handicap at Epsom (1½m) 17 days ago, going in snatches before staying on to take that place final 100 yds. Return to a flatter track looks in his favour and interesting connections pitch her up to 2m now.
