Timeform View

ROAIRIN' SUCCESS remains well treated on her Flat form and is taken to follow up last month's 2m course success, most likely at the expense of James Owen's recent Worcester scorer Lucy The Wire.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Lucy The Wire traded at a high of 4.80 and Betfair SP of 5.00 when winning last time, a race in which it raced prominently and travelled strongly early on.

Timeform Comments

Basilette (IRE)
Quirky but enhanced her good course record when winning an 8-runner race over this trip last Sunday. Not obviously well treated under a 7 lb penalty, though.
Roarin' Success
Fairly useful Flat form and, with a tongue tie added, came good at the second time of asking in handicap hurdles when seeing off 13 rivals over 2m here (good to firm) 3 weeks ago. Retains plenty of handicapping scope based on Flat ability.
Lucy The Wire (IRE)
Aided by first-time cheekpieces (retained) when landing a second career success in 8-runner handicap at Worcester (2m, good to firm) 9 days ago. 5 lb higher now but could easily pull out more for this excellent yard.
Klervia (FR)
Modest maiden for Fergal O'Brien, leaving that yard after finishing a below-par seventh at Market Rasen (23f, good to firm) last month. Others are more persuasive.
Dusky Spyglass
Lightly-raced maiden who was sent off at 200/1 and pulled up on her handicap debut at Huntingdon (21f, good to soft) in March. Can only be watched after a further 130 days off.
