HONEY I'M GOOD enjoys a big pull in the weights with Edgewell from their C&D meeting last month and is taken to resume winning ways. The main threat may emerge from Edgewell's stablemate Premier Fantasy, who rates a potential improver now returning to fences for his handicap debut.

Timeform Comments

Premier Fantasy (IRE)
Multiple point winner who pulled up in hunter chase last May but offered a lot more in 2 maiden hurdles for Nick Scholfield last month (including second over 2¾m here). Returns to fences for handicap debut. Potential improver and very interesting to see how he compares in betting to Edgewell.
No More No (IRE)
Returned from 7 months off to make a winning start over fences at Southwell (3m) in May 2025 and followed up back over that same C&D in June after a further 13 months off. Had quite a hard race and given 6 weeks to recover. 3 lb higher as he bids for the hat-trick.
Great D'ange (FR)
C&D winner but he's an untrustworthy individual. Easily best effort for current trainer when second of 7 over C&D (good) 16 days ago but he was outbattled after fluffing the last
Edgewell (IRE)
Saw off Honey I'm Good to win over C&D (good) last month and followed up at Worcester (23f, good to firm) 9 days ago, his fourth win in his last 8 starts. His quirks remain but he's hard to rule out given his recent record. Yard also runs Premier Fantasy.
My Girl Katie (IRE)
C&D winner last July and went in again at Stratford in August. Off since a below-form third back here at the end of that month. Claims if ready to roll after her absence.
Honey I'm Good (IRE)
Well handicapped on the form she showed when winning over fences at Stratford 2 years ago and best effort since returning from an absence when ¾-length second of 9 to Edgewell over C&D (good) 26 days ago, finishing with running left. Meets that rival on 9 lb better terms. Gets the vote.
Mcgregors Charge
Got off mark over fences at Perth (3m) last August for Ella Pickard but has lost his way badly in recent starts, including back chasing recently for another new stable (had run 2 runs for Kayley Woollacott in April). Needs a first-time tongue and refitted cheekpieces combination to spark revival.
Testflight
Did well over C&D last summer, including winning this race (his sole career success). Warmed up for a repeat with a creditable 2¾ lengths fourth of 9 to Edgewell and Honey I'M Good over C&D (good) 26 days ago
