Timeform View

Jessie Harrington and Shane Foley have combined to win this twice since 2019 and might do so again courtesy of SEA CORAL who is nicely handicapped if she can build on her latest third to the reopposing Daboya, who bids for a hat-trick here. Another seeking a third successive win is Truth Be Told and he might be the one to give the selection most to do.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Duke Of Leggagh could be expected to race prominently. Of those in the front half of the betting forecast, Sea Coral might be well positioned in a slowly run affair: Of the better-fancied horses, Truth Be Told is most likely to be ridden furthest from the pace.

Timeform Comments

Londonofficecallin (IRE)
Made a winning reappearance on the Flat at Cork in May. Not disgraced in maiden chases since and ought to be competitive back on the level.
Truth Be Told (IRE)
Ended 2025 with a breakthrough Thurles win (final start for Dermot Weld) and returned to follow up for new yard in 11-runner handicap at Leopardstown (1¼m, good) in May, overcoming a positional bias. Should make a bold bid for the hat-trick.
War Rooms (IRE)
Fifteen runs since last win in 2023. Bit below form thirteenth of 20 in handicap at the Curragh (1¼m, good to firm, 50/1) 58 days ago. Back up in trip. Cheekpieces are also refitted.
Royal Saxo (FR)
Fairly useful form in France, winning a pair of claimers last year, but has failed to beat a rival in 2 outings for Tony Martin. Could only consider if backed.
Daboya (IRE)
C&D winner last month and better than ever when following up in 6-runner handicap at Tramore (1½m, good) 13 days ago, driven out. At the top of her game but is another 6 lb higher on the hat-trick bid.
Steel Cut (IRE)
Lightly-raced maiden. Blinkered first time (retained), good fourth of 11 in handicap at Navan (1¼m, good to firm) 9 days ago. Back up in trip.
Sea Coral (FR)
9/2 and tongue strap on first time, step back in right direction when 3 lengths third of 6 to Daboya in handicap at Tramore (1½m, good) 13 days ago. Big player if she can build on that for a yard no stranger to success in this.
Duke Of Leggagh (IRE)
Latest win at Bellewstown (12.5f, soft) in October. Off since a below-par effort at Gowran later that month so peak fitness has to be taken on trust.
Deralo Ir (FR)
Runner-up twice at up to 11.5f in France in spring 2025. Off for 13 months ahead of handicap debut for new stable. The betting is probably the best guide to expectations.
Pillar Of Hope
Best effort of the season when fourth of 15 in handicap at Leopardstown (9f, soft) 46 days ago, never nearer. Significantly back up in trip.
