IT JUST TAKES TIME has been knocking on the door and may notch a fourth C&D success in a tight handicap. Glenfinnan and Coolree are again expected to be firmly in the mix.

Timeform Comments

A War Eagle (IRE)
Forward-going type. Well drawn when third in big-field Class 2 handicap at Epsom last time. Drops back down in grade but still 2 lb higher than when narrowly recording second C&D win in April.
It Just Takes Time (IRE)
Only 1 lb higher than when making all in a similar event at this track last September. Continued fine run of form with neck-third behind Glenfinnan over C&D latest. Will probably get an easier time on the front end here, and a fourth C&D success beckons.
Glenfinnan (IRE)
Free-going sort. Form of C&D win in May has proved solid. Saw his race out well with hood retained when runner-up over C&D last time (It Just Takes Time only neck away in third). Likely to go close off an unchanged mark.
Tattie Bogle
Won over C&D (beating Coolree 1¾ lengths) in June before finishing solid second at Thirsk under a penalty. Easily forgiven his latest run here off a quick turnaround and looked as good as ever prior to that.
Coolree (IRE)
Landed back-to-back wins here (8.5f) in May. Now 5 lb better off with Tattie Bogle on last month's form. Close fourth behind Glenfinnan/It Just Takes Time over C&D last time, and now has good-value apprentice taking over.
