Timeform View

A long losing run doesn't make AMAZONIAN DREAM one for maximum faith but last week's runner-up effort over C&D suggests he's in good enough form to strike again if things fall right. Lequinto had the selection behind in second when landing C&D win number 6 last month and is feared most ahead of lightly-raced 3-y-o Visually.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Visually could be advantaged by a prominent position which looks likely in this field: Of the better-fancied horses, Lequinto is most likely to be ridden furthest from the pace.

Timeform Comments

Buccabay (IRE)
Won at Kempton (6f) in December. Mostly creditable efforts in defeat on all-weather at the start of 2026 and contender if ready to roll after 4 months off.
An Outlaw's Grace (IRE)
Winless since debut but he has been placed twice over C&D off his reduced mark in recent months. Respectable fifth (Amazonian Dream second) of 12 over C&D (good to firm, 13/2) 7 days ago.
Independent Expert (IRE)
Bounced back to form when scoring over 7f at Naas for Denis Hogan in March but hasn't reproduced that form since, including for new yard at Epsom (6f) 19 days ago. Would need to see market support to consider.
Lequinto (IRE)
Eighth course win and sixth C&D success of this career when seeing off the reopposing Amazonian Dream by 1½ lengths 3 weeks ago. Merits plenty of respect again.
Em Four
Won twice on all-weather in the spring but has found life tougher off higher marks on turf since. The handicapper is starting to ease the burden but others are still more persuasive.
Amazonian Dream (IRE)
Three-time C&D winner. Last win was back in 2024 but he's been runner-up over C&D under Oisin Murphy on his last 2 starts. Looked unlucky not to go closer (short of room at crucial stage) last week and can get his head back in front now.
Dontspoilasale (IRE)
Three-time winner over 6f at Dundalk for Denis Hogan but offered little on recent yard debut at Lingfield (all-weather). One of 2 from the stable and they have similar profiles. Best watched unless there is a market move.
Visually
Finished first and second in 5f novices last autumn. Shaped as if needing the run when sixth of 11 on C&D handicap debut and reappearance 5 weeks ago. Retains obvious unexposed potential.
