WHISKEY KISSES took a big step forward when a recent C&D third and off a 3 lb lower mark here she is taken to gain a first win at the chief expense of in-form C&D winner Water of Leith.

Timeform Comments

Water Of Leith (IRE)
Gained deserved success at Wolverhampton (6f) in March and has continued in good nick, sixth of 8 over C&D a week ago. Having just a second go in cheekpieces now and this C&D winner is entitled to be thereabouts again.
Mount Ruapehu (IRE)
Won 3 times on all-weather earlier this year but last 5 efforts on turf leave a lot to be desired and looks tough to fancy here.
Harlequin Bay
Runner-up twice at Newcastle late last year. Has gone with little encouragement back on turf after 4 months off at Haydock and Thirsk last 2 runs, however. Has been gelded.
Whiskey Kisses (IRE)
Fair form for George Scott last year. Easily best of 3 starts for current yard with third of 8 in handicap over C&D week ago, doing well given she challenged wide. Very much one to consider off a 3 lb lower mark in her bid for a first success.
Cotai Starlight (IRE)
Lightly-raced maiden. Underwent a breathing operation before coming in eighth of 9 in handicap at Musselburgh (7f) 20 days ago. Considerately handled there so could still do better.
Royal Duke
Course winner who fared better than of late when fifth of 8 in handicap over C&D 7 days ago. Not out of things if building on it with cheekpieces added.
Summerstorms Dream (IRE)
Still looking for a breakthrough victory. Positive signs when third over C&D on return in May but hasn't built on it since.
