Timeform View

Only a handful make appeal in this low-grade handicap and previous C&D winner BASED can quickly resume winning ways. Musical Soldier may have to settle for second yet again, while Oh So Perfect was bang in form when last seen and can make her presence felt if fully tuned up on return.

Timeform Cash Out Hints

Based traded at a low of 8.60 and Betfair SP of 6.60 when losing last time, a race in which it raced prominently.

Timeform Comments

Magic Lady Mae (IRE)
Ran to just a modest level for Richard Hannon before being sold for 4,800 gns and made no impact on sole outing for Kevin & Lauren Frost in Doncaster handicap last time. Has work to do now with yet another new yard.
Neat And Tidy
Has yet to match the modest form shown on debut in 3 subsequent outings for Jonathan Portman. The cheekpieces are left off and has joined an interesting stable, though the market appeals as best guide.
Based (IRE)
C&D winner in June. Found it more difficult when down the field in a deeper race at Newcastle next start. This assignment looks a little easier and he should be well in the mix.
Dusk Damsel
Ran a fine race when second on handicap debut at Lingfield in April. Yet to repeat that both starts since, though wasn't seen to best effect on latest outing. Not one to dismiss out of hand for each-way purposes.
Fullstop (IRE)
Improved when third at Leicester in April and backed it up at Kempton next time. Well held at Salisbury when last seen in May. No surprise if he bounces back having first run on tapeta.
Oh So Perfect (IRE)
Confirmed her improvement since switching yards when winning twice at Chelmsford earlier in the year under front-running tactics. Hasn't been seen since mid-March but has to be taken seriously in hat-trick bid.
Ten Cuidado (IRE)
Modest form standout effort last season. Comfortably well held on all other outings. Eyeshields on for the first time.
Musical Soldier (IRE)
Sole success came over C&D in May. Back on track with runner-up efforts at Chepstow and Leicester earlier this month. The tongue tie is left off but has first-time cheekpieces added. Should go well again.
Crown The Future (IRE)
Winner of a C&D nursery last year for Jack Morland and not disgraced in a couple of efforts after. Still early days with this yard but others more persuasive.
Electrocution
Off the mark in a C&D handicap in February and ran well next 2 starts. Got back on track again over C&D in June after a couple of lesser efforts before running poorly on turf debut last time. Needs to bounce back.
